تبيين و تحليل نقش اجتماع علمي در فرآيند تمدّني دولت شيعي صفويه

Explaining and Analyzing the Role of the Scientific Society in the Process of the Civilization of Safavid State

يكي از شاخص­ هاي مهم فرهنگ و تمدّن در هر عصري پيشرفت­ هاي علمي و پرورش صاحبان انديشه در عرصه علوم است. هدف اصلي نوشتارحاضر، مطالعه اجتماع علمي عصر صفوي و نقش آن در فرآيند تمدّني آن روزگار است. اين مقاله با الهام از الگوي نظري رندل كالينز و با روش توصيفي ـ تحليلي ضمن توجه به­ ضرورت كاربرد رويكردهاي جامعه‌‌شناختي در تحليل پديده‌هاي تاريخي در جست ­وجوي پاسخي مناسب براي اين پرسش است كه اجتماع علمي در عصر صفويه از چه ويژگي‌هايي برخوردار بوده و آيا توانسته خود را به­ عنوان يك كانون پيشرو و تمدّن‌زا معرفي كند؟ يافته ­هاي تحقيق نشان مي­دهد رشد علم در گرو ظهور و تداوم حلقه­ هاي فكري به ­مثابه اجتماع­ هاي علمي است كه هسته محوري آن را زنجيره مناسك تعامل با انرژي عاطفي بالا تشكيل مي­دهد. با حمايت دستگاه سياسي دولت، حكما، فقها، علماء، دانشمندان و هنرمندان همچون فعالان فضاي علم در درون حلقه­هاي فكري، توانستند نقشه راه تمدّنسازي بر مبناي معارف عقلاني تشيّع را طراحي كنند.

The main purpose of the present paper is to study the scientific-cultural society of the Safavid era and its role in the civilization process of that time. This paper, inspired by Randall Collins's theoretical model and with descriptive-analytic method, does pay attention to the necessity of applying sociological approaches to analyzing historical phenomena, and seeks a suitable answer to this question: What are characteristics of scientific-cultural community in the Safavid era, and has it been able to define itself as a pioneering civilization? The findings show that the growth of science is depends on the emergence and continuation of intellectual circles and scientific communities, which its pivot core consists of chain of rites of interaction with high emotional energy. With the support of the political apparatus of the state, scholars, jurists, artists as well as intellectuals were able to establish Alawite civilization by designing a road map of civilization based on rational Shiite cultural education.
