از آنجا كه در تحقق تربيت عاليه براي اطفال در مواجهه با مسايل جديد حادث شده بهترين معيار، استفاده از عنصر «مصلحت» است، اين پژوهش، با استفاده از ويژگي هاي مصلحت در فقه و با بيان معيارها و دستورالعمل هاي اخلاق اسلامي، مصالح بنيادين در تربيت را براي اطفال ترسيم مي كند. الگوي اخلاقي و تربيتي مورد نظر با تاكيد بر حوايج معنوي اطفال تشريح شده است. با استفاده از روش تحليلي و توصيفي و با در نظر داشتن ابعاد زندگي اطفال و رعايت ظرافت هاي مخصوص مواجهه با آنان، ضعف مفهوم مصالح تربيتي اطفال در مقام استنباط و اجرا، مورد بازنگري جامعي قرار گرفته و تربيت به نحو احسن، كه مي بايست با ارزش هاي اخلاقي و موازين حقوق اسلام همسو گردد، بيان مي شود. چگونگي اجراي مصلحت و اخلاق مداري در امور تربيتي اطفال، كاركرد اساسي در رشد و كرامت اطفال داشته و تشخيص و تكليف مداري آن به والدين و ولي واگذار شده است. شيوه بيان حدود مصلحت در امور تربيتي و اختيارات اوليا و ولي، دچار كاستي هاي فراواني است و بايد با احصاء محورهاي اصلي مصالح تربيتي، دامنه رفتار والدين و ولي را به منظور تحقق اخلاق حسنه در مواجهه با امور تربيتي و تامين منافع عالي اطفال، هدفمند نمود.
