تبيين انتظارات و ديدگاه هاي اعضاء هيات علمي در ارتباط با مراكز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش علوم پزشكي

Explaining the Expectations and Views of the Faculty Members in Relation to the Educationa Development Centers

مقدمه: اهميت درك و شناخت فعاليت‌هاي مركز توسعه آموزش پزشكي و توافق نظر نسبت به حوزه عملياتي اين مركز به منظور دستيابي به اهداف و اجراي سياست ارتقاي كيفيت آموزش در دانشگاه ­ها امري اجتناب­ ناپذير است. از آنجايي­ كه اعضاي هيات علمي به­ عنوان مشتريان مراكز مطالعات و دريافت‌كنندگان اصلي خدمات آنان هستند لذا اين مطالعه با هدف تبيين انتظارات اعضاي هيات علمي از ارائه خدمات مراكز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش دانشگاه­ ها صورت پذيرفته است. روش ­ها: پژوهش حاضر يك مطالعه كيفي در سال 1395 در سطح مراكز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش پزشكي كشور انجام شد. ابزار گردآوري داده‌ها، مصاحبه نيمه ساختار يافته با اعضاي هيات علمي به روش نمونه‌گيري هدفمند بود و جمع ­آوري اطلاعات تا اشباع داده‌ها به تعداد 16 نفر صورت پذيرفت. روايي و پايايي مطالعه از طريق بررسي ريشه در چهار محور مقبوليت، انتقال پذيري و تناسب، همساني و تغييرپذيري تاييد شد. براي تجزيه و تحليل محتوا از شيوه تجزيه و تحليل محتواي تماتيك انجام شد. يافته‌ها: نتايج تحليل محتواي داده‌ها در شش تم اصلي (13 طبقه يا تم فرعي و 11 زير طبقه) شامل ايفاي نقش ­هاي آموزشي، ارزشيابي، ارتباط با هيات علمي، توليد علم و حمايت از اعتلاي دفاتر توسعه و بازگشت به فلسفه وجودي مراكز طبقه‌بندي شد. نتيجه‌گيري: يافته‌هاي پژوهش بيانگر اهميت جايگاه مراكز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش پزشكي از ديدگاه اعضاي هيات علمي و انتظارات آن­ها از كاركرد اين مراكز بود. لذا توصيه مي­ گردد مراكز مطالعات و توسعه آموزش پزشكي از يافته­ هاي اين پژوهش در بازبيني كاركرد خود استفاده نمايند.

Introduction:The importance of understanding and recognition of Medical Education Development Center’s activities and agreement on its´ domain of operation in order to achieving the objectives and policy implementation of improving quality of education in universities is inevitable. Since Facultymembers are clients of EDC and the main recipients of their services, this study aimed to explain the faculties´ expectations of providing services by medical education development centers in universities. Methods: This is a qualitative study carried out at the Medical Education Development and Study Centers of Iran in 2016. Data were collected by semi-structured interviews with faculty members through purposeful sampling and data gathering was done until data saturation of 16 individuals. The validity and reliability of the study were confirmed by examining the roots in the four axes of acceptability, transferability, suitability, consistency and variability. Content analysis has been done by thematic analysis. Results: The results of content analysis in six main themes (13 floors or sub themes and 11 subcategories) including: the role playing in Education, evaluation process, relationship with faculty, production of science, support for promotion of development offices and return to existential philosophy of centers was categorized. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate the importance of medical education research and development centers from the viewpoints of faculty members and their expectations of their functioning, therefore it is recommended to use findings of this study to review their performance by education development centers.
