Evaluating the Acceptance of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) among Students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences

زمينه و هدف: موك به ­معناي دوره‌هاي برخط گسترده، رويكردي آموزشي است كه امكان دسترسي دانشجويان مختلف را به دوره­ هاي برخط در سراسر دنيا فراهم مي‌كند و معمولا رايگان است. روند رشد مستمر و سريع موك‌ها توجه جوامع آموزشي را به خود جلب كرده است و محبوبيت فراواني را در بسياري از دانشگاه‌ها به­ دست آورده است. از همين رو پژوهشي كاربردي، بر مبناي نظري پذيرش و مدل استفاده از فناوري، جهت تحقق پذيرش و استفاده دانشجويان علوم پزشكي از موك‌ها انجام شده است. روش بررسي: روش پژوهش، پيمايشي-توصيفي است كه در سال 1398 انجام شده است. نمونه آماري شامل 367 نفر از دانشجويان دانشگاه علوم پزشكي شيراز است كه بر اساس روش نمونه‌گيري ساده تصادفي انتخاب شده‌اند. ابزار جمع‌آوري اطلاعات پرسش­‌نامه است كه روايي و پايايي آن تاييد شده است. داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم­ افزار 8/8LISREL و SPSS تجزيه و تحليل شدند. يافته‌ها: بخش مهمي از يافته‌هاي پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه رابطه مثبت و معناداري بين مولفه‌هاي انتظار عملكرد و قصد رفتاري، انتظار تلاش و قصد رفتاري، شرايط تسهيل‌گر و استفاده از سامانه و قصد رفتاري و استفاده از سامانه وجود دارد. نتيجه‌گيري: با توجه به نتايج مطالعه‌­ي حاضر، انگيزه‌­ي مديران موك جهت پياده‌سازي موثر سامانه به شدت در گرو قصد رفتاري كاربران به ­خصوص تمايل دانشجويان علوم پزشكي در جهت پذيرش و استفاده از سامانه است.

Background and Aim: MOOC stands for Massive Open Online Course and is an instructional approach that allows hundreds of thousands of students to access -- typically free of charge -- online courses anywhere around the world. The continuous and rapid growth of MOOCs has attracted the attention of educational community and has gained widespread popularity among many universities. Therefore, based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, an applied research was conducted to study medical students' acceptance to use MOOCs. Materials and Methods: It is a descriptive survey that has been done in 2019. The sample consisted of 367 randomly selected students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS). The data collection tool was a questionnaire, the validity and reliability of which were confirmed. The data were analyzed by SPSS and LISREL 8.8 software. Results: An important part of the results revealed that there was a positive meaningful relationship between "performance expectancy" and "behavioral intention", "effort expectancy" and "behavioral intention", "facilitating conditions" and "use of the system", and "behavioral intention" and "use of the system". Conclusion: According to the results of this study, MOOC managers' motivation to implement the system effectively strongly depends on the behavioral intention of users, especially students' willingness to accept and use the system.
