Performance Indicators of Librarians of the Public Library of Iran

هدف هدف اصلي اين تحقيق، ارايه شاخص هايي براي ارزيابي عملكرد كتابداران كتابخانه هاي عمومي كشور است. روش شناسي تحقيق: روش تحقيق، توصيفي پيمايشي و ابزار گردآوري داده ها پرسشنامه محقق ساخته با 6 معيار عملكردي (معيارهاي شغلي، توسعه حرفه اي، تعهد حرفه اي، روابط انساني، انعطاف پذيري و معيارهاي اخلاقي) است. روايي محتوايي پرسشنامه توسط استادان و نخبگان تاييد و پايايي آن با استفاده از ضريب آلفاي كرونباخ، 0/87 به دست آمده است. جامعه آماري تحقيق كتابداران كتابخانه هاي عمومي درجه 1 تا 3 كشور، شامل 248 كتابدار هستند. براي تجزيه و تحليل داده ها از آزمون t مستقل استفاده شده است. يافته ها: يافته هاي پژوهش نشان مي دهد بالاترين ميانگين مربوط معيارهاي شغلي با ميانگين4/00 است. سپس تعهد حرفه اي با ميانگين 3/99، همچنين شاخص انعطاف پذيري با ميانگين 3/96، ميانگين شاخص روابط انساني 3/89، توسعه حرفه اي 3/86، معيارهاي اخلاقي و فوق برنامه 3/79 است. بحث و نتيجه گيري: نتايج نشان دهنده آن است كه معيارهاي عملكرد شش گانه شغلي، توسعه حرفه اي، تعهد حرفه اي، روابط انساني، انعطاف پذيري و معيارهاي اخلاقي مورد توجه كتابداران است و مي توان از آن ها در ارزيابي عملكرد كتابداران كتابخانه هاي عمومي استفاده كرد

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present the performance indicators of public libraries in Iran. Methodology: The research method is descriptive-survey and data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire with 6 performance criteria (job criteria, professional development, professional commitment, human relationships, flexibility and ethical criteria). The content validity of the questionnaire by the professors and Confirmation elites and its reliability, using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, is 0.87. The statistical population of the study includes librarians of public libraries of grade 1 to 3 countries, including 248 librarians. Independent T test was used to analyze the data. Results: Findings show that the highest average is related to job benchmark with an average of 4.00. Then, professional commitment with an average of 3.99, as well as a resilience index with an average of 3.96, an average of human relationships of 3.89, a professional development of 3.86, a moral criterion, and a supramental program of 3.79. Conclusion: The results show that the six indicators include the job criteria, professional commitment, human relationships, flexibility and ethical criteria are considered by librarians. The indicators can be used to evaluate the performance of public librarians
