The Relationship between Spiritual Intelligence of Librarians and Quality of Services in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences Libraries with Professional Ethics Approach

زمينه و هدف: ارتقاي هوش معنوي و پاي‌بندي به اصول اخلاقي، موجب خدمت رساني با كيفيت بهتر، كارايي و اثربخشي بالاتر مي‌گردد. پژوهش حاضر با بررسي رابطه هوش معنوي كتابداران وكيفيت خدمات در كتابخانه‌هاي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي شهيد بهشتي با رويكرد اخلاق حرفه‌اي انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: روش پژوهش توصيفي-همبستگي و با هدف كاربردي بود. جامعه آماري، 180 نفر از كتابداران شاغل در كتابخانه‌هاي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي شهيد بهشتي بود. براي گردآوري اطلاعات از دو پرسش‌نامه كينگ و رداد استفاده شد. تحليل اطلاعات با روش‌هاي استنباطي و آزمون كولموگروف-اسميرنوف انجام شد. اطلاعات به‌دست آمده توسط نرم افزار spss نسخه 22 تجزيه و تحليل شد. ملاحظات اخلاقي: در اين پژوهش، تمامي اصول اخلاق در پژوهش رعايت شده است. يافته‌ها: نتايج نشان داد كه بين ابعاد هوش معنوي (تفكر وجودي انتقادي، توليد معناي شخصي، آگاهي متعالي، بسط حالت هوشياري) با كيفيت خدمات در كتابخانه‌هاي مورد مطالعه رابطه مثبت و معناداري وجود دارد. نتيجه‌گيري: نتيجه پژوهش نشان داد كه بين هوش معنوي كتابداران و ارائه كيفيت خدمات در كتابخانه‌هاي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي شهيد بهشتي با رويكرد اخلاق حرفه‌اي رابطه وجود دارد، بنابراين مي‌توان با آموزش استفاده از هوش معنوي، كيفيت خدمات در كتابخانه‌هاي مورد مطالعه را افزايش داد.

Background and Aim: Promoting spiritual intelligence and adherence to ethics leads to higher quality service, efficiency and effectiveness. The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between the spiritual intelligence of librarians and the quality of services in the libraries of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences with a professional ethics approach. Materials and Methods: The research method was descriptive-correlational and with an objective purpose. The statistical population included 180 librarians working in the library of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Data collection was done by two questionnaires of King and Radad. Data analysis was done by inferential methods and Kolmogrov-Smirnov test. Data were analyzed by SPSS version 22 software. Ethical Considerations: In this study, all principles of research ethics were considered. Findings: The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the dimensions of spiritual intelligence(critical existential thinking, production of personal meaning, transcendental consciousness, and extension of consciousness) and the quality of services in the libraries. Conclusion: The result of the research showed that there is a relationship between the spiritual intelligence of librarians and the provision of quality services in the libraries of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences with the professional ethics approach. Therefore, using the spiritual intelligence, service quality in the studied libraries could be increased.
