An overview of the importance of compassion in community security

شفقت ورزي يكي از مفاهيم نوپا در روانشناسي است كه موجب گسترش دانش در زمينه سلامت روان و روابط بي فردي شده است. شفقت به طور كلي يك سازه چندبعدي و داراي چهار جنبه اصلي شناختي، هيجاني، انديشناكي و انگيزشي است. در اين مقاله با مرور برخي از مهم ترين آثار منتشر شده در حوزه شفقت ورزي به ويژه شفقت به خود، سعي شده است ديدگاهي كلي راجع به نقش شفقت ورزي در امنيت جامعه ارائه گردد. در رابطه با نقش وراثت و تربيت، ويژگي انطباقي بودن و تحول شفقت ورزي طي دوران رشد و رابطه آن با سبك هاي دلبستگي مورد بحث و تاييد قرار گرفته است. همچنين همبستگي شفقت با همدلي و انسان دوستي، و تضاد آن با رفتارهاي ضداجتماعي بر پايه يافته هاي پژوهشي تبيين شده و در نهايت به موانع و مقاومت ها در برابر تجربه شفقت نيز به طور مختصر اشاره گرديده است.

Compassion is a new emerging construction which has increased the knowledge of mental health and interpersonal relationships. Generally compassion is a multidimentional construct including four key components: cognition, affection, being concerned, and motivation. This paper offers a comprehensive perspective on the role that compassion plays in social security by reviewing some of the essential tracts in the literature. On the role of inheritance and cultivation, being an adaptive trait, development of compassion through life stages and its relationship with attachment styles were discussed. Correlations between compassion, empathy and altruism, and its opposision with criminality and antisocial behaviors were specified based on research results. Finally blocks and resistances against being compassionate were briefly addressed.
