Mysticism, Meaning and Politics

يكي از مهم‌ترين مؤلفه‌هايي كه اصالت سوژه سياسي و كنش مدني انسان امروز را متأثر ساخته، مسئله معنا و امنيت هستي‌شناختي بشر و نيست‌انگاري حاكم بر جهان مدرن است. برخي متفكران سياسي كه به ارتباط ميان معناي زندگي و عمل سياسي انسان مي‌پردازند، در راستاي توجيه اين معناداري به دامان تفكر كلاسيك به ويژه هنر و فضيلت خواهي يوناني پناه مي‌برند. اين مقاله ضمن بررسي ناسازواري هنر و فضيلت كلاسيك با هستي‌شناسي مدرن، به برخي دلالت‌هاي عرفان اسلامي در حكمت عارفانه عطار در اين حوزه خواهد پرداخت. حاصل بحث جستار حاضر اين است كه عرفان فردگرايانه عطار اگرچه در ارتباط با «نظريه سياسي» ـ دست كم از نگاه برخي از محققان ـ در حالت امتناع به سر مي‌برد، اما در سطح معناشناختي دربردارنده برخي تضمنات معناجويانه براي حضور اصيل سوژه سياسي و نفي سياست ايدئولوژيك و توده‌اي است.

One of the most important factors influencing the authenticity of the political subject and the civil action of recent mankind is the issue of the ontological meaning of humanity and the nihilism of the modern world. Some political thinkers concentrating on the relationship between the meaning of life and political action in humans seek to justify this meaning through classical thought, particularly Greek art and virtuosity. While analyzing the incompatibility of classical art and virtue with modern ontology, this article will elaborate on some implications of Islamic mysticism in the wisdom of Attar. The conclusion of the discussion presented in this paper is that although Attar's individualist mysticism related to political theory seems the refusal at least from the viewpoint of some scholars, it has some meaningful ramifications for the genuine presence of the political subject and the negation of ideological and mass politics at the semantic level.
