بررسي خصوصيات زيست شناختي و پتانسيل هاي پرورشي برخي از گونه هاي جراح ماهي (خانواده:Acanthuridae) ساكن خليج فارس جهت بهره برداري در صنعت پرورش ماهيان زينتي

Investigation of biological characteristics and breeding potentials of some species of surgeonfish (Family: Acanthuridae) inhabiting the Persian Gulf for exploitation in the ornamental fish breeding industry

صخره هاي مرجاني خليج فارس جزو غني ترين ذخاير مرجاني جهان محسوب مي شوند. اين زيستگاه هاي ارزشمند تنوع قابل ملاحظه اي از گونه هاي آبزي به ويژه ماهيان را به خود اختصاص داده اند. يكي از گروه هاي مهم اكولوژيكي ساكن مناطق مرجاني در خليج فارس جراح ماهيان (خانواده: Acanthuridae) مي باشند كه در بسياري از مطالعات مورد توجه محققين قرار گرفته اند. اين ماهيان به دليل برخورداري از تنوع رنگي و ارزش هاي زيبايي شناختي، قابليت معرفي به عنوان گزينه هاي پرورشي به صنعت ماهيان زينتي را دارند. با توجه به اين موضوع، مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسي خصوصيات زيست شناختي و پتانسيل هاي پرورشي برخي از گونه هاي جراح ماهي ساكن خليج فارس جهت بهره برداري در صنعت پرورش ماهيان زينتي آب شور به اجرا درآمد. اين تحقيق نشان داد كه گونه هاي جراح ماهي ساكن خليج فارس از قبيل Acanthurus blochii، A. sohal، A. nigrofuscus، A. triostegus و A. xanthopterus از پتانسيل قابل توجهي جهت معرفي به صنعت پرورش ماهيان زينتي برخوردار مي باشند. از اينرو، پيشنهاد مي شود تا اقدامات لازم به منظور فراهم سازي بستر مناسب براي پرورش اين گونه هاي زينتي در كشور صورت گيرد.

The coral reefs of the Persian Gulf are among the richest coral reserves systems in the world. These valuable habitats have a remarkable diversity of aquatic species, especially fish. One of the important ecological groups living in coral reefs of the Persian Gulf is surgeonfish (Family: Acanthuridae), which have been considered by researchers in many studies. These fish can be introduced as breeding options to the ornamental fish industry because of their colour variation and aesthetic values. In this regard, the present study aimed to investigate the biological characteristics and breeding potentials of some species of surgeonfish inhabiting the Persian Gulf for exploitation in the saltwater ornamental fish industry. The study showed that surgeonfish species of the Persian Gulf such as Acanthurus blochii, A. sohal, A. nigrofuscus, A. triostegus and A. xanthopterus have significant potential for introducing to the ornamental fish industry. Hence, it is recommended to take the necessary measures to provide suitable conditions for production of these ornamental fish species in the country.
