چكيده فارسي :
در مكتب تشيع امامي، امور دنيايي و سياسي جامعه در ارتباطي تنگاتنگ با مسائل آخرت تعريف شده‌اند. دين و سياست تفكيك‌ناپذير است و رهبران معصوم عليه السلام مهم‌ترين سياست‌مداران امت معرفي شده‌اند. سياست در سيره رهبران معصوم اسلام عليه السلام از اصولي برخوردار است كه آن را با نظامات سياسي دنيا متمايز كرده است.در اين مقاله برآنيم، با روش نقلي و تاريخي و بررسي منابع تاريخ اسلام، اصل «پرهيز از ظلم و خشونت» در سيره سياسي اميرمومنان علي عليه السلام را بررسي كنيم.بيانات و نامه‌هاي حضرت به واليان و استانداران به‌ويژه، نامه حضرت به مالك‌اشتر و روايات تاريخي بيانگر اين است كه جز در موارد اجراي قانون و عمل به دستورات وحي، كوشش حضرت بر اين بود تا در پي اجراي عدالت بوده و از توسل به خشونت و ظلم پرهيز كند. اميرمومنان عليه السلام از به دست آوردن قدرت و حفظ آن را به هر قيمتي، چون خون‌ريزي، عمل بر اساس سوء‌ظن و به‌كارگيري قهر و شمشير براي وادار كردن جامعه به اطاعت، گريزان بود.

In Shiite School, the worldly and political affairs of society have been defined in close connection with the issues of the hereafter. Religion and politics are inseparable and the infallible leaders have been introduced as the most important politicians in the Ummah. Politics in the course of the infallible leaders of Islam has principles that distinguish it from the political systems of the world. In this article, we intend to study the principle of "Avoiding Cruelty and Violence" in the political course of Imam Ali through a narrative and historical method and examining the sources of Islamic history. Imam Ali's statements and letters to the rulers and governors, in particular his letter to Malik al-Ashtar, and also historical narrations indicate that except in the case of law enforcement and the implementation of revelation orders, Imam Ali's effort was to seek justice and to avoid violence and oppression.
