منظومة گلشن راز شبستري را به حق مي­توان يك دورة كامل عرفان نظري و حتي شناسنامة عرفان نظري دانست. اين كتاب به­رغم اختصار در حجم و تعداد ابيات، مضامين بلند و عميق عرفاني را به شايستگي تبيين كرده و همين امر، فهم دقيق محتواي آن را حتي براي اهل فن نيز بسيار دشوار نموده است؛ لذا شرح­هاي بسيار زيادي بر آن نوشته شده و اين نوشتار درصدد آن است كه ضمن معرفي مهم­ترين شروح گلشن راز، به اختصار به نقد و بيان اهم ويژگي­هاي آنها بپردازد. در نتيجه مي‌توان گفت در ميان مهم­ترين شرح‌هايي كه در اين پژوهش مطالعه شده­­اند، شرح مفاتيح الاعجاز، هم به لحاظ پرداختن به تمام ابيات گلشن و هم به لحاظ عمق مطالب برجسته­ترين و تأثيرگذارترين شرح به شمار مي­آيد كه شروح پس از آن كمابيش وام‌دار آن هستند.

Poems of Golshan­e­raz can truly be encountered as a complete course of speculative mysticism and even its certificate. in spite of its small bulk and its few couplets, Golshan­e­raz explains the valuable and deep contents of mysticism exactly. These characteristics have complicated an exact understanding even for the experts. Thus numerous descriptions have been written on it. Introducing the most signiticant descriptions of Golshan­raz, this article seeks to assert and criticize the prominent attributes of them briefly. As a conclusion, it can be said that among the important descriptions of Golshan­e­raz, Mafatihol­eajaz is the most significant and effective one; because it deals with all couplets of Golshan­e­raz and its contents are very deep and complicated simultaneously so that the latter descriptions are more or less affected by it .
