Feasibility of the Impact of Magic on the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.) based on the Nature of Magic

در منابع اهل‌سنت و شيعه رواياتي وجود دارد كه حاكي از سحر شدن پيامبر اكرم صلي الله عليه و آله و سلم به‌وسيله شخصي يهودي است. اين روايات هم از لحاظ معيارهاي متني و سندي اعتبارسنجي حديث دچار خدشه است، و هم به‌مثابه شانيت روايت تفسيري از باب سبب نزول متزلزل مي‌نمايد. اما ازآنجاكه سحر ماهيتي مبهم و رمزآلود دارد، براي اعتبارسنجي اين روايات، پيش از هر رويكردي بايستي چيستي سحر روشن شود. تحقيق حاضر با رويكردي تحليلي و انتقادي مي‌كوشد كه ابتدا چيستي سحر را تبيين كند و سپس به امكان‌سنجي تاثيرگذاري آن بر پيامبر اكرم صلي الله عليه و آله و سلم بپردازد. تامل در آيات قرآن و بررسي ديدگاه دانشمندان مسلمان، نشان مي‌دهد كه مقوله سحر عملي نفساني است و داراي يك حوزه سه‌گانه است كه به اراده ساحر، قابليت مسحور، و اراده خداوند بستگي دارد، و بنابر ادله و مستندات نقلي و عقلي، اين مثلث درباره پيامبر صلي الله عليه و آله و سلم‌ ناتمام است؛ و سحر نمي‌تواند هيچ‌يك از مراتب وجودي آن حضرت‌ را تحت تاثير قرار دهد.

In Sunni and Shi'ite sources, there are traditions that indicate that the Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.) was enchanted by a Jewish man. These narrations have been voided both in terms of the textual criteria and the validity of the narration. But since magic is of a mysterious nature, in order to validate these narrations, it is necessary to clarify what magic is. Using a descriptive-analytical method this paper seeks to analyze the nature and feasibility of enchanting the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.). The Qur’an and Muslim scholars believe that magic is a sensual act that has a threefold domain including the will of the wizard, the enchantment, and the will of God. According to the arguments, this triangle cannot be realized regarding the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) and magic cannot affect any of the existential dimensions of that Prophet (P.B.U.H.).
