The role of forgiveness and gender in predictability of mental health among agings from shahrekord

اين پژوهش به منظور پيش‌بيني سلامت روان و ابعاد آن بر اساس متغيرهاي بخشش و جنسيت در سالمندان شهرستان شهركرد صورت گرفت. جامعه پژوهش حاضر را سالمندان شهرستان شهركرد تشكيل ‌دادند كه از بين آنها نمونه اي متشكل از 120 نفر سالمند از مراكز روزانه سالمندان آفتاب، خانه جهانديدگان، و فرهيختگان به روش نمونه گيري هدفمند انتخاب گرديد. در اين پژِوهش پرسشنامه‌هاي سلامت روان سازمان جهاني بهداشت (GHQ، 1979) و پرسشنامه كينه (رشن، 1390) بر روي گروه نمونه اجرا شد. متغير جنسيت در تحليل داده ها بررسي شد. تحليل همبستگي نشان داد كه متغير بخشش رابطه مثبت و معناداري با سلامت روان مخصوصا در بعد افسردگي دارد. نتايج تجزيه و تحليل با روش رگرسيون چندگانه چندمتغيره نشان داد كه متغير بخشش توانست هر چهار بعد سلامت رواني( جسماني سازي و اضطراب و افسردگي و عملكرد اجتماعي) را مورد پيش‌بيني قرار دهد و متغير جنسيت فقط توانست دو بعد از سلامت روان( جسماني سازي و افسردگي) را مورد پيش‌بيني قرار دهد.

This study was accomplished to predict mental health and its dimensions based on forgiveness and gender variables in the aging of Shahrekord. The study population comprised of aging in Shahrekord city, and a sample of 120 agings in Aftab, Khane Jahandidegan, and Farhikhtegan senior centers was selected with purposive sampling. , Method: In this study, The World Health Organization Mental Health Questionnaire (GHQ) and grudge questionnaire (created by Rashan) was performed on the sample group. Also, gender explored in data analysis. Findings: Correlation analysis showed that forgiveness had a significant and positive relationship with mental health, especially with depression. Also, multiple multivariate regression analysis showed that all four dimensions of mental health (physical health, anxiety, depression, and social performance) were predicted by forgiveness and just two dimensions of that (depression and physical health) could be predicted by gender. Conclusion: this study showed that variables like forgiveness and gender could predict mental health among agings.
