چكيده لاتين :
Failure analysis of different parts of boiler is an important activity, especially for old power plants. In this study, sample tubes of reheated, waterwall and superheater of Montazer Ghaem power plant located in Tehran proviance, IRAN, are examined to specify the type of failure and failure reasons. Optical microscope is used in order to evaluate the microstructure of tubes and kind of failure. Stiffness of tubes are determined and elementary and phase analysis of deposits are performed by XRF and XRD methods. It can be seen that sample tubes failure kinds are long term and short term overheating. Also elementary and phase analysis showed that sodium vanadat as a corrosive material exists in deposits and the main content of deposits is vanadium.
