The Role of Resiliency and Psychological Hardiness in Predicting Psychological Well-being

هدف پژوهش حاضر، بررسي نقش تاب آوري و سخت رويي روان شناختي در پيش بيني بهزيستي روان شناختي مادران داراي كودكان نارسايي ذهني و تحولي بود. طرح پژوهش، توصيفي از نوع همبستگي بود و جامعۀ آماري شامل مادران داراي كودكان با نارسايي هاي ذهني و تحولي بود. در اين راستا، تعداد 80 نفر از اين گروه از مادران به صورت نمونه گيري دردسترس انتخاب شدند و مقياس هاي بهزيستي روان شناختي بشارت، تاب آوري كانر و ديويدسون و سرسختي روان شناختي كوباسا براي جمع آوري داده ها استفاده شدند. تحليل داده ها ازطريق نتايج آزمون رگرسيون چندگانه به روش همزمان نشان داد متغيرهاي تاب آوري و سخت رويي روان شناختي توانايي پيش بيني بهزيستي روان شناختي در بين مادران داراي كودكان نارسايي هاي ذهني و تحولي را دارد. يافته هاي پژوهش حاضر از پايه هاي نظري روان شناسي مثبت در ارتباط با تأكيد بر توانمندي هاي آدمي در مقابله با چالش هاي زندگي حمايت مي كند.

The aim of this research was to study the role of resiliency and psychological hardness in the prediction of psychological well-being of mothers of children with adaptive-cognitive disabilities. The design of research was a correlational type. The statistical population included all mothers of children with cognitive-adaptive disabilities in 2018-2-19. Therefore, by convenience sampling 80 mothers from this group were selected and Beshart’s Psychological Well-being, Kobasa’s Psychological Hardness and Conner & Davidson’s Resiliency Inventories were used to gather the data. The Pearson’s correlation coefficient indicated that both resiliency and psychological hardness have significant relationships with psychological well-being. The results of multiple regression revealed that both of these variables can predict psychological well-being in mothers of children with cognitive-adaptive disabilities. More research is needed to achieve evidence-based practice, and develop and implement educational programs including resiliency and psychological hardness to improve the psychological well-being of mothers of children with cognitive-adaptive disabilities.
