چكيده لاتين :
Because of numerous advantages of optical sensor with respect to mechanical ones, in this paper some of more applicable and cost benefit optical sensors is introduced. The optical sensors that is introduced are: a) Fabry_Perot sensors: These sensors can measure temperature and pressure on the basis of variation of the reflected rays from two parallel blades, b) Optical current and voltage transformers: These transformers can measure the amount of voltage and current according to the variation of polarization of ray, which passes through magnetic field and electrical field. C) Magneto-Optical Sensors: These sensors can be used for detecting of small cracks in the power plant pipes. The small cracks change the magnetic field and the Faraday sensors detect them according to the changing, d) Infrared and ultraviolet cameras: These cameras can detect the temperature leakages and corona in the power plant instruments and power transmission lines.
