Identification and Rating of the Research Skills in Higher Education Students of the Faculty of Physical Education, University of Tehran

هدف از پژوهش حاضر شناسايي و رتبه‌بندي مهارت‌هاي پژوهشي دانشجويان تحصيلات تكميلي دانشكدة تربيت بدني دانشگاه تهران بود. اين تحقيق براساس هدف، كاربردي و از نظر روش بررسي، توصيفي از نوع پيمايشي بود. جامعة آماري پژوهش را دانشجويان تحصيلات تكميلي دانشكدة تربيت بدني دانشگاه تهران تشكيل دادند. نمونة آماري پژوهش به‌صورت در دسترس و تعداد 80 نفر انتخاب شدند. به‌منظور جمع‌آوري داده‌هاي تحقيق از روش ميداني با استفاده از مصاحبه و پرسشنامة محقق‌ساخته (0.97=α) استفاده شد. به‌منظور تبيين و تحليل داده‌ها از تحليل عاملي اكتشافي و آزمون T تك‌نمونه‌اي استفاده شد. نتايج پژوهش نشان‌دهندة پنج بُعد به‌عنوان مهارت‌هاي پژوهش‌گري بود كه به‌ترتيب مهارت‌هاي طراحي ابزار تحقيق، تفسير نتايج تحقيق، مهارت‌هاي آماري، جمع‌بندي نتايج تحقيق و جست‌وجو در ادبيات تحقيق، رتبه‌بندي شدند كه نقاط ضعف تا قوت دانشجويان تحصيلات تكميلي تربيت بدني بودند.

The aim of this study was to identify and rate the research skills in higher education students of Faculty of Physical Education, University of Tehran. This study was applied in terms of objectives and descriptive survey in terms of method. The statistical population included higher education students of Faculty of Physical Education, University of Tehran. The sample consisted of 80 students who were selected by convenience sampling method. The field method including interviews and a researcher-made questionnaire (α=0.97) were used to collect data. Exploratory factor analysis and one-sample t test were applied to explain and analyze the data. The results revealed five dimensions as research skills; they were rated as research instrument design, interpretation of research results, statistical skills, summarizing research results and searching the literature respectively. They were weaknesses and strengths of the higher education students of physical education.
