مروري بر فرمولاسيون آفت‌كش‌هاي ميكروبي

A review on the formulation of microbial-based biopesticides

با توجه به اثرات ناگوار استفاده از آفت‌كش‌هاي شيميايي بر محيط زيست و سلامت انسان، امروزه، كاربرد آفت‌كش‌هاي زيستي (biopesticides) به‌عنوان روش‌ جايگزين، مؤثر و در عين حال بي‌خطر، براي كنترل آفات در برنامه هاي كشاورزي پايدار ضروري و حياتي تلقي مي شوند. آفت‌كش‌هاي زيستي كه در اين جا به آن‌ها پرداخته مي‌شود، شامل فرآورده‌‌هايي است كه حاوي ميكروارگانيسم‌هاي زنده مي‌باشد (microbial biopesticides). اگرچه، تعداد فراواني از سويه‌هاي مؤثر آفت‌كش‌هاي ميكروبي شناسايي شده‌اند اما يكي از دلايل اصلي عدم موفقيت تجاري آن‌ها، نبودِ فرمولاسيون‌هاي مناسب مي‌باشد. چالش‌هاي متعدد علمي و فني در فرآيند فرمولاسيون آفت‌كش‌هاي زيستي وجود دارد. با اين حال، با پيشرفت‌هاي فني و نگرش نوين جامعه به غذا و محيط زيست سالم، ثبت و فروش آفت‌كش‌هاي زيستي در دنيا در حال افزايش بوده و پيش بيني‌ها حاكي از افزايش فروش ساليانه آفت‌كش‌هاي زيستي در سال‌هاي آينده مي‌باشد. در اين مقاله مروري، ابتدا مقدمه‌اي درباره ضرورت كاربرد آفت‌كش‌هاي زيستي به‌عنوان جايگزيني مناسب براي سموم شيميايي و جايگاه آن‌ها در كشاورزي نوين بيان مي‌شود. سپس به چالش‌هاي كلي توليد و تجاري‌سازي آفت‌كش‌هاي ميكروبي و فنِ فرمولاسيون به‌طور ويژه پرداخته خواهد ‌شد. مراحل قبل از فرمولاسيون شامل انتخاب سويه مناسب، حفظ و نگهداري طولاني مدت آن و نيز روش هاي تكثير انبوه به‌طور خلاصه ذكر مي‌شود. سپس، انواع كلي فرمولاسيون‌ها (مايع و جامد) و مزايا و معايب آن‌ها شرح داده شده و به مواد مختلف همراه و افزودني‌هاي فرمولاسيون و نيز عوامل متفاوت محيطي تأثيرگذار بر فرمولاسيون‌ها اشاره خواهد شد. در ادامه فرمولاسيون‌هاي مختلف آفت‌كش‌هاي ميكروبي به‌طور جداگانه و با ذكر مثال شرح داده مي‌شود.

Concerning the adverse effects of the indiscriminate use of chemical pesticides on the environment and human health, today, biopesticides as a safe and effective alternative are necessary for pest control in sustainable agriculture programs. The biopesticides discuss here is restricted to the products containing live microorganisms. Although, the considerable number of effective biocontrol strains have been identified, but one of the main reason in their unsuccessful commercialization is thelack of suitable formulation. There are many scientific and technical challenges in the process of biopesticide formulation. Nevertheless, due to technological advances and new social outlook toward safe food and environment, biopesticide market is growing and it is predicted that its share increases in the near future. In this review, we present an introduction about the necessity of the biopesticides application as a proper alternative to chemical pesticides and their role in modern agriculture. Then, we discuss general challenges in production, formulation and commercialization of microbial-based biopesticides. The procedures before formulation including selecting the effective strains and their preservation as well as the fermentation methods were briefly described. After that, the two types of formulation i.e. liquid and solid, their advantages and disadvantage, a various ranges of carriers and adjuvants and important environmental factors affecting the formulations were also outlined. Finally, different types of common formulation were separately introduced and exemplified.
