Introduction
There are a lot of problem for using cares in urban area at the modern time for developing countries, such as low space for existing cars in traffic, air pollution increase, accidents and low parking spaces in different levels. People and goods transport management in the city with increased speed, safety and cost decrease are most important aims for urban transport system and its performance depends on required infra-structure and proper situation for different parts and good coordination. One of most important infra-structure for transport system is public parking which has major role in decreasing of extra-parking and improving the traffic. In fact, parking is a part of urban space for stop time of transport vehicles. Public parking as important parts of urban transport system provides level to removing static traffic from the urban communication system and decreasing the traffic in turn.
Methodology
Study method, considering aim, application, field, nature is description and its type is scanning. The tool for study in this project is usage of documents, drawing, statistic and other papers in organization and related institutes such as management and plan organization, area 1 in Ahwaz mayor. Data gathering will be in field and presence in the location and providing questionnaire by researcher and taking photos from the location and providing tables, using ArcGis software. Topsis technique will be used to analysis. Society statistic is 12025 person living in area 1 of Ahwaz metropolice (according to statistic of people and residents in 1390) and the sample volume with random method and Krukan formula is 380 person. Krunbach alpha coefficient is used for stability,trust and accuracy of questionnaire and it was 0.7.To assess public parking located in area 1 of Ahwaz metro-police,6 indices such as area,distribute,dispersion, availability of transport,safety,beauty and cost were selected. Analysis was performed according to Topsis.
Results and discussion
Specification of existing public parking in studied area is one of most important steps in the project, especially according to capacity, availability radius, legal and ownership respect to other existing parking. According to field studies and according to inquiry statistic obtained from Ahwaz metro-police traffic and transport organization, there are 32 known public parking in studied area. Among these items in area 1, just ten items had required condition of indices in the project. Floors type Parking of Karun had better condition, Nakhl parking was the biggest one (18500 m2 and Shahid Fahmide had the largest capacity, 600 vehicles). Study method in this project was according Topsis. This method was introduced by Howang and Jun in 1981. This idea which means priority according to similarity with an ideal: The better ranking is near to positive ideal and far away from negative ideal.
Conclusion
In this project , there is no good condition for public parking located in area 1 of Ahwaz metro-police according to view of study and considering single sampel T- results. Also the number of parking is not enough according to the area, population density in area 1 and resident people also are not satisfied about number and service of public parking. Considering six indices, area, distribute, dispersion, availability of transport, safety, beauty and time of parking and presentation of service and facilities were considered. Results showed that Karun floors parking with 0.876 weight according to performance was the best. Nakhl with weight 0.574 weight in second rate, Shahed parking with weight 0.547 in third ranking, Moeen Garden parking with weight 0.456 in fourth place, Shahid Fhamidie with weight 0.45 in fifth place, Khalij Fars Gulf with weight 0.395 in 6th place, Refah parking with weight 0.348 in 7th place, Sahel Karun parking with weight 0.312 in 8th place, Qaem parking with weight 0.283 in 9th place and Mahzeyar parking with weight 0.175 has the 10th ranking. Generally, results analysis showed that average performance of parking is 0.440 (domain between 0 and 1) has not proper performance. In the other hand, to specify public parking condition in area 1 of Ahwaz metro-police, it is possible to say that general parking performance is 0.44 according to obtained average and Topsis method. If Rj+ coefficient domain is between (0 and 0.4) performance level is low and if Rj+ domain is between (0.4, 0.6) performance is at the middle and if Rj+ is between (0.6, 1), performance is high. Results showed that Karun Parking performance was high. Nahkl, Shahed, Moeen Garden, Shahid Fahmide have the middle performance and Khalij Fars Gult, Refah, Sahel-e-karun, Qaem, Mahziyar have the lowest performance.
