در ادبيات عرفاني زبان تمثيل يكي از محوري ترين راه ها براي بيان مقصود است و پرداختن به داستان ها و روايات ملموس با زندگي اجتماعي انسان ها، فهم زبان عرفاني را آسان تر مي كند. سنايي را مي توان نخستين شاعري دانست كه در قالب مثنوي، طنز را به خدمت عرفان گرفته و آموزه هاي عرفاني و اخلاقي را با چندين شگرد طنز درآميخته است و در حكايات و جز آن به كار بسته است. بنابراين طنز صوفيانه سنايي، بيشتر جنبه تمثيلي و روايي دارد. بر اساس مطالعه پيش رو مي توان گفت كه طنز در زبان سنايي شيوه اي برجسته در بيان است كه به شكلي گسترده و در اشكال مختلفي به كار گرفته شده است. در اين پژوهش تحليلي توصيفي بعد از پرداختن به طنز تمثيلي، نمونه هاي مختلف طنز تمثيلي در اشعار سنايي بررسي شده و به دست آمد كه عناوين طنزهاي تمثيلي سنايي - كه بيشتر از نوع روايي و حكايتي هستند- از لحاظ محتوايي، شامل طنز تمثيلي اجتماعي، اخلاقي، ديني و صوفيانه اند و قهرمان حكايات وي را، هر دو شخصيت انساني و حيواني تشكيل مي دهند.

Regarding the fact that in mysticism literature the language of simile has been utilized as the most principal ways to represent the ideas, and dealing with stories and narrations touching the social lives of human beings could simplify the understanding of mysticism literature, the authors of great Persian literature works have benefited from different stories to compose their works in the form of irony. Also, Sanaee is known as the very first poet who has utilized irony to serve mysticism and has been able to represent mystic and moral thoughts using several ironies and stories and narrations. In the present research done using a descriptive-analytic method, first we have dealt with simile and irony and have investigated about different samples of similes in the poems of Sanaee. Findings showed that the titles of similes composed by Sanaee, mostly using stories and narrations, consisted of concepts such as simile, social, moral, religious, and mystic understanding and his heroes were both human and animal characters.
