Arabic Loan words in Persian: Phonetic and Semantic Transformations

در اين مقاله به بررسي تغيير و تحولاتي پرداخته مي‌شود كه در وامواژه‌هاي عربي پس از ورود به زبان فارسي روي داده است و اين تغييرات در سطوح آوايي و معنايي توصيف و طبقه‌بندي مي‌شود. نتايج تحقيق نشان مي‌دهد كه در سطح آوايي برخي واجهاي عربي به ‌دليل نبود در فارسي و برخي به‌ دليل توليد دوگانه‌اي كه در عربي دارد به نزديكترين واج نظير خود از نظر مكان توليد (بدون توليد دومين2) در نظام واجي زبان فارسي تبديل شده‌ است. در سطح معني با اينكه وامواژه عينا وارد زبان فارسي شده معنايي غير از آنچه در زبان عربي داشته به خود گرفته است و بر مفهوم ديگري دلالت دارد. از سويي بسياري از اين وامواژه‌ها در دوره پس از صفويه در بافتهاي جديد و متناسب با فرهنگ ايراني و شيعي معناي نويني به خود گرفته كه در عربي به آن معنا به كار نرفته است تا جايي كه هنگام ترجمه از فارسي به عربي اين كلمات را بايد به كلمات عربي ديگري ترجمه كرد. اين تحولات معنايي را مي‌توان تحت چند گروه اختلاف معنايي3، تخصيص معنايي4، توسعه معنايي5، ارتقاي معنايي6 و تنزل معنايي7 دسته‌بندي كرد.

This article examines the changes that have occurred in Arabic loanwords after entering the Persian language. These changes are described and categorized on the phonetic and semantic levels. The results of the research show that some Arabic phonemes have become some of the closest phonemes in terms of the place of production (without second generation) in the Persian phonemic system due to their absence in Persian language or their dual articulation in Arabic. At the level of semantic, although the loan words has entered the Persian language with the same form as in Arabic, they have meanings other than hgose in the Arabic language. On the other hand, many of these loan words in the post-Safavid period have received new meanings in new contexts in accordance with the Persian and Shiite culture, which has not been used in Arabic; so far as we have to translate these words from Persian to Arabic into different words. These semantic transformations can be categorized under several groups including: semantic changes, semantic narrowing, semantic widening, semantic elevation, and semantic pejoration
