بررسي تطبيقي تصويرپردازي رئوس ملائكه در چاپ سنگي كتاب «عجايب المخلوقات و غرايب الموجودات» و روايات اسلامي

A comparative Study of the Illustration of Arch Angels in the Lithographic Print of the Book "Ajib al-Makhlough wa Gharāeb al-Mojoudāt" and the Islamic Traditions

با ورود صنعت چاپ سنگي به ايران در عصر قاجار، كتاب هاي فراواني منتشر گرديد و در اين بين افزودن تصاويري مرتبط با محتواي آن، يكي از نيازهاي ناشران بود. اين مقاله بر آن است تا با روش توصيفي-تحليلي به بررسي ميزان تطبيق نقاشي هاي مربوط به رئوس ملائكه (اسرافيل، ميكائيل، جبرئيل و عزرائيل) در كتاب چاپ سنگي عجايب المخلوقات قزويني (نسخه 1264 ق) با قصص قرآني و روايات اسلامي بپردازد. يافته ها حاكي از آن است كه تصويرگر اين كتاب، عليقلي خويي، الگوي پايه در ترسيم پيكره اين ملائكه را از سويي براي زيبايي بصري مبتني بر آموخته هاي هنري و از سويي ديگر در جهت انطباق با آيات و منابع روايي با رويكرد ديني و در مواردي جزيي بر اساس هنجارها و باورهاي اجتماعي، قرار داده است. اما بررسي تحليلي تصاوير با گزارش هاي موجود اين نظر را اثبات مي كند كه خويي تا حد بسيار زيادي تحت تاثير روايات اسلامي بوده و تصاوير برخوردار از درون مايه ديني او را، نمي توان تنها منبعث از قوه تخيل هنري دانست.

With the advent of the lithography industry in Iran during the Qajar era, a host of books were published. In this period, the addition of illustrations related to the contents was one of the needs of publishers. This paper tries to investigate the level of correspondence between paintings of arch angels (Raphael, Michael, Gabriel and Azrael) in the lithographic print of the book “Ajib al-Makhlough wa Gharāeb al-Mojoudāt” (1264 AH version) and Quranic verses and Islamic traditions using a descriptive-analytical method. The findings suggest that the illustrator of this book, Aligholi Khoei, has drawn the figures of these angels for their visual beauty inspired by artistic learning one the one hand and for adaptation with Quranic verses and sources of narratives from a religious approach on the other, though in some cases they are influenced by social norms and beliefs. However, the analytical review of illustrations based on existing reports demonstrates that Khoei is largely influenced by Islamic traditions so that religiously inspired illustrations cannot be considered as the only source of artistic imagination.
