روش و بينش تاريخ‌نگاري گريگور يقيكيان در كتاب شوروي و جنبش ‌‌جنگل

Gregory Yeghikian’s Historiographical Method and Standpoint in the Soviet unio‎n and Jangal (Jungle) Movement

اغلب گزارش‌هايي كه مجاهدان ‌‌جنگلي يا شاهدان اين جنبش‌‌ نوشته‌اند، از نظر نگرش و بينش به‌گونه‌اي در دسته‌بندي‌هاي موافق يا مخالف جنبش جنگل قرار دارند؛ درحالي‌كه يقيكيان با وجود ارائۀ گزارشي دقيق و سنجيده مانند ناظري بيروني حوادث جنبش ‌‌جنگل را روايت مي‌كند. تمركز نوشته‌هاي يقيكيان بر جمهوري شورايي گيلان است. وي اغلب با دقت و بدون جانب‌داري خاصي، وقايع و حوادث جنبش‌‌ جنگل را با روشي علمي بيان مي‌كند. بااين‌حال نشانه‌هايي آشكار از جانب‌داري به نفع انگلستان و سرزنش عثماني و دولت‌هاي محور در نوشته‌هاي او ديده مي‌شود. پرسش نوشتار اين است: از منظر بينش و روش تاريخ‌نگاري، يقيكيان چه رويكردي به وقايع تاريخي جنبش‌‌ جنگل داشته است؟ نتايج پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد يقيكيان به جهت ارتباط با طيف‌‌‌‌هاي گوناگون جنبش‌‌ جنگل و دسترسي به اسناد و مدارك سرّي تا اندازه‌اي توانسته نسبت‌به ساير راويان جنبش‌‌ جنگل گزارش‌هاي مستندي از اين واقعه ارائه دهد. پژوهش حاضر با استفاده از روش كتابخانه‌اي و با تكيه ‌بر كتاب شوروي و جنبش‌‌ جنگل و ساير آثار يقيكيان در اين زمينه به شيوۀ تحليلي‌انتقادي در روش تاريخ‌نگاري صورت گرفته است.

According to methods and standpoints, most accounts written by Jangali worriers or eyewitnesses to this movement are categorized as those supporting or rejecting the movement. Yeghikian, however, gives a narrative, both accurate and informed, of the movement from a bird’s eye view. He emphasizes the Soviet unio‎n of Guilan and chronicles the movement. He employing a scientific method that is both rigorous and disinterested. However, there are overt signs of tilting towards the British and criticizing the Ottomans and Axis powers in his book. The research question is: What is Yeghikian’s approach to the historical development of the movement from the perspective of historiographical method and standpoint? The findings indicate that the account he provides is more documented than those presented by other historians. This stems from his association with a diverse range of warriors involved in the movement and having access to confidential documents. The desk method is employed in the study. The analytical-critical approach in historiography is applied to The Soviet unio‎n and Jangal (Jungle) Movement and other works by Yeghikian revolving around this topic.
