بررسي نگرش دندان پزشكان در كنگره ي پروتز در مورد هدف و محتوي كنگره و عوامل مرتبط به آن در سال 1397

Dentists’ Attitudes in the Prosthodontics Congress about the Purpose and Content of Congress and Its Related Factors in 2018

مقدمه انجام پژوهش‌هاي مستمر در جهت شناسايي نيازها و اولويت‌ها، ايجاد انگيزه و مشاركت و افزايش بهره‌گيري شركت‌كنندگان ضروري است. هدف اين پژوهش، تعيين نظرات نگرش دندان‌پزشكان در مورد هدف و محتوي كنگره و عوامل مرتبط به آن در كنگره‌ي پروستودونتيست‌ها در سال 1397 بود. مواد و روش‌ها اين مطالعه‌ي توصيفي بر روي 270 دندان‌پزشك انجام گرفت. پرسش‌نامه‌ها حاوي مشخصات فردي و 12 گويه كه 6 گويه به نفع شركت در كنگره و 6 گويه بر عليه شركت در كنگره بود كه طبق طبقه‌بندي ليكرت انجام شد و پايايي آن از طريق آزمون تي انجام گرفت. ميزان نگرش در نمونه‌ها تعيين و نقش عوامل به آزمون، در آناليز رگرسيون مشخص گرديد. يافته‌ها دندان‌پزشكان داراي نگرش كاملا موافق نسبت به شركت در كنگره (4 درصد)، نگرش موافق (73 درصد)، نگرش مخالف (22/6 درصد) و در نهايت، 0/4 درصد، كاملا مخالف بودند. مهم‌ترين انگيزه‌ي نگرش مثبت، گفتگو و مباحثه در كنگره به ميزان 93 درصد و بعدي براي كسب درآمد بيشتر (71 درصد) و كم‌ترين انگيزه به ميزان 6/6 درصد، آشنايي با متد و وسايل جديد بود نتيجه‌گيري با اينكه نگرش مثبت به شركت در برگزاري كنگره قابل قبول بود اما انگيزه‌ي آن‌ها مطلوب نبود و جاي نگراني دارد. اكثر دندان‌پزشكان با انگيزه‌هاي غير علمي در برنامه‌هاي آموزش مداوم شركت مي‌كنند. اقدامات لازم براي اصلاح اين انگيزه در شركت به كنگره، توصيه مي‌گردد. كليدواژگان:

Introduction Investigations into continuing education programs are necessary to identify the needs and priorities, motivate the participants, and improve their benefits. This study was performed to assess dentists’ viewpoints about the aims, the content, and the relevant factors in the prosthodontics congress. Materials and Methods This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 270 dentists participating in the 52nd Iranian Dental Association Congress (2016). The questionnaire consisted of demographic data and 12 statements, with six statements supporting participation in the Congress and six against it. Likert scale was used to score the questionnaire, and its validity was evaluated with t-test. The participants’ attitudes were determined, and the relevant factors were assessed with regression analysis. Results 4% of the dentists had a highly positive attitude towards participating in the congress, 73% had a negative attitude, 22.6% had a negative attitude, and 0.4% had a highly negative attitude. The most important reason for a positive attitude was discussions and debates in the Congress (93%), followed by making more money (71%), and the least motivation (6.6%) was familiarity with new methods and tools. Conclusion Although the participants’ positive attitudes were at a favorable level, their motivation was not favorable, causing some concern. Most dentists participated in continuing education programs with non-scientific motives. Measures are recommended for improving motivations for participating in congresses.
