ما در عصري زندگي مي كنيم كه عصر شگفت انگيز دانش و اطلاعات، عصر شتاب غيرقابل باور فناوري و خلاقيت است. با عموميت يافتن سريع دسترسي به رايانه‌ها و تكنولوژي اطلاعاتي و رسانه هاي پيشرفته هيچ كشوري نمي تواند اقتصاد قرن بيست و يكمي را بدون زيرساخت الكترونيكي قرن بيست و يكمي اداره كند. يكي از فاكتورهاي مهم در تصميم گيري مديران اطلاعات است. داشتن اطلاعات دقيق، صحيح و ‌به هنگام باعث بالا رفتن سرعت تصميم گيري شده و جلوي اتخاذ بسياري از تصميمات نادرست را خواهد گرفت. طي ساليان اخير موج استفاده و بهره گيري از سيستم هاي اتوماسيون اداري كشور ما را فراگرفته است و بسياري از سازمان‌ها، تمايل زيادي براي بهره‌گيري و استفاده از اين سيستم ها از خود نشان مي دهند و حاضرند مبالغ كلاني را براي استقرار و به كارگيري اين سيستم ها صرف نمايند. هدف اصلي از اين تحقيق بررسي اثرات سيستم اتوماسيون اداري بر بهبود تصميم گيري مديران مي باشد و شامل اهداف فرعي مانند شناسايي يك سيستم اتوماسيون جامع اداري مناسب جهت اطلاع رساني به مديران، بررسي و تجزيه و تحليل آثار و نتايج حاصل از سيستم اتوماسيون اداري بر تصميم گيري مديران، بررسي و شناسايي عوامل مؤثر بر موفقيت سيستم اتوماسيون اداري از نظر تأمين اطلاعات مناسب نظير صحت، دقت، بهنگام بودن و اقتصادي بودن، بررسي اثرات اتوماسيون اداري بر بهبود فرايند تصميم گيري مديران، ارائه ي راهكار براي بهبود عملكرد سيستم اتوماسيون جهت بهره برداري مي باشد.

Our time is the time of wonderful knowledge and information and the age of unbelievable speed of technology and creativity. With the publicity of easy access to computers and information technology and sophisticated media, no country can ever manage the twenty first economy without the electronic infrastructure of the twenty first century. During the past few years, using administrative automation has become commonplace throughout our country and many organizations tend to employ these systems by spending high amount of expenses to set up them. For the same reason, studies must be conducted to see if and to what extent these systems have been able to help executives in making better decisions. The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of the automation system on the improvement of the managers’ decision making and it includes secondary purposes such as the detection of a comprehensive administrative automation system for informing the managers, investigation and analysis of the effect of administrative automation system on managers’ decision making, investigation and detection of the influential factors on the success of administrative automation system regarding the accuracy, precision and time as well as the economy these systems , investigation of the effects of the administrative automation systems on the improvement of managers’ decision making, presenting strategies to improve the performance of the automation systems.
