The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, signed in September 2015 by the governments of the 193 UN member
states, acknowledges the key role played by business and finance in creating a new development model that encompasses
economics, environment and society. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals officially launched at the beginning of 2016 will
serve as a global roadmap for the next 15 years. With sustainable development now seen as the new frontier for maintaining
and increasing compa-ny competitiveness, the 2030 Agenda has become crucial for entrepreneurs.
