The Sassuolo ceramic cluster has a long and well-respected tradition of innovation that is always a topic of discussion and
analysis. The strength of a cluster, particularly in terms of technology, is particularly evident during periods of change that
revolutionise our working methods and even affect the way we live our lives.
There have been many of these periods of transition driven by forward-looking entrepreneurs who have generated innovation
through their visions. Some of the most significant examples include decoration with silicone rollers, the transition to
digital printing, the advent of large-size tiles and slabs, as well as many other innovations that have changed forever the way
that ceramic tiles are produced.
