Any discussion of technological innovation inevitably centres on the concept of sustainability, a factor that has now become
a key strategic lever for gaining competitive advantage in the market. Along with ethical considerations regarding the environment
and sustainable development, green technologies also bring significant advantages in terms of productivity thanks
to greater energy efficiency and recycling of industrial waste. These concepts are in turn related to the equally important aspect
of production cost reduction, which has led to a surge in demand for green technologies all over the world, both in developed
countries and in emerging economies. The green trend has naturally been welcomed by heavy clay plant suppliers,
who have made the structural changes necessary to be able to respond efficiently to the new production requirements.
