Despite the continued political and economic uncertainty in a number of countries in the region, Latin America remains one of the most important markets for heavy clay machinery. As part of its business plans, the Greek company Sabo – one of the leading sup-pliers of turnkey solutions for the heavy clay industry – has been investing in the region for about a decade and has strengthened its presence in the various markets. In particular, it has put together a team of experienced technicians capable of providing cus-tomers with dedicated pre- and after-sales service and has set up a company in Brazil to provide local support, clearly demonstrat-ing its keen interest in the Latin American markets. Over the years, Sabo has developed highperformance solutions capable of improving the energy efficiency of kilns and dryers in existing brick factories and has also introduced modern automation systems that have increased overall productivity. The following are a few of the most significant projects.
