بررسي اثر تعاملي ثبات سياسي و اندازه اقتصاد بر جذب سرمايه گذاري مستقيم خارجي

The Effect of the Interaction of Political Stability and Size of the Economy on the Inflows of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)

سرمايه گذاري مستقيم خارجي يكي از مهمترين عوامل ايجاد رشد و توسعه اقتصادي در اغلب كشورهاي جهان مي باشد.اين تحقيق به بررسي تاثير ثبات سياسي-عدم وجود خشونت بر جذب سرمايه گذاري مستقيم خارجي با توجه به اندازه اقتصاد، با استفاده از رهيافت مدل خودرگرسيون برداري چند متغيره تابلوئي (Panel VAR) طي دوره 2018-1996 مي پردازد. بر اساس نتايج تحقيق در اقتصادهاي توسعه يافته، متغيرهاي ثبات سياسي-عدم وجود خشونت و اندازه اقتصاد هم به صورت جداگانه و هم به صورت توأمان بر جذب سرمايه گذاري مستقيم خارجي اثر دارند. در اين گروه از كشورها، ثبات سياسي-عدم وجود خشونت تاثير كمتري بر جذب FDI خواهد داشت و با افزايش اندازه اقتصاد نيز تاثير ثبات سياسي بر جذب FDI به مراتب بيشتر هم كاهش مي يابد. اما در اقتصادهاي در حال توسعه متغيرهاي ثبات سياسي-عدم وجود خشونت و اندازه اقتصاد به تنهايي داراي اثري معني دار بر جذب FDI نمي باشند، در حالي كه متغير ضربي يا به عبارتي اثر تعاملي اين دو متغير به صورت همزمان، داراي تاثير معني دار و قابل توجهي بر جذب FDI مي باشد و افزايش اندازه اقتصاد از اثر ثبات سياسي بر FDIمي كاهد. نتايج نشان مي دهد در اقتصادهاي بزرگ ثبات سياسي-عدم وجود خشونت تاثير گذاري كمتري بر جذب سرمايه گذاري مستقيم خارجي دارد، حال آنكه در اقتصادهاي كوچك، ثبات سياسي-عدم وجود خشونت بر جذب سرمايه گذاري مستقيم خارجي تاثير گذاري بيشتري دارد.

Foreign direct investment is one of the most important factors in economic growth and development in most countries in the world. This study investigates the impact of political stability - absence of violence on attracting foreign direct investments due to the size of the economy, using the Panel Vector Auto Regression model (Panel VAR) during the period 1996 - 2018. Based on the results of the research, in developed and industrial economies, the variables of political stability - absence of violence and economic size, both simultaneously and individually affect foreign direct investment. In this group of countries, political stability - absence of violence have a lower impact on FDI and by increasing the economic size the impact of political stability - absence of violence on FDI is significantly lower. But in developing countries, political stability - absence of violence and economic size do not have any significant effect on foreign direct investments separately, while the multiplier variable or on the other hands the interaction effect of the two variables simultaneously, has a significant effect on attracting FDI. It means that also in this group of countries, the increase in the size of the economy reduces the impact of political stability - absence of violence on FDI. In general, the results show that in large economies, political stability - absence of violence has less influence on foreign direct investment, whereas in small economies, political stability – absence of violence has more influence on attracting foreign direct investment.
