بررسي نظريه‌ صلح دموكراتيك در فلسفه‌ سياسي جان رالز و كاربرد آن در اتحاديه‌ اروپا

A Study of the Theory of Democratic Peace in John Rawls' Political Philosophy and Its Application in the European unio‎n

جان رالز، فيلسوف عدالت دوران معاصر، انديشه‌ سياسي خود را حول محور عدالت بيان نموده است. رالز در كتاب ليبراليسم سياسي جامعه‌اي عادل را به تصوير مي كشد كه بر اساس اصول دموكراتيك اداره مي‌شود. سوال و هدف محوري اين پژوهش تاثيرگذاري و ارتباط نظريه‌ صلح دموكراتيك جان رالز و اتحاديه اروپا است. پايه‌ صلح دموكراتيك مد نظر رالز، اتحاديه‌ اروپا به عنوان يك مصداق مورد آزمون قرار مي دهد. در اين راستا با بررسي دقيق اركان و مباني نظريه‌ رالز از سويي و ارزيابي روند شكل‌گيري اتحاديه‌ اروپا از آغاز همگرايي تاكنون از سويي ديگر، مي‌توان وحدت در اتحاديه‌ اروپا را به عنوان مصداقي از تحقق نظريه‌ صلح دموكراتيك جان رالز دانست. چنانكه مي­ توان به وجود تعدد و تكثر عقايد، پذيرش اصل تساهل، معقول بودن اعضاي اتحاديه، پذيرش اصل مرجعيت خرد عمومي و تعهد اعضاي اتحاديه به ثبات اتحاديه و قوانين موضوعه‌ي آن اشاره كرد.

John Rawls, the contemporary philosopher of justice, has expressed his political thought on the subject of justice. Rawls's book, Political Liberalism, portrays a just society governed by democratic principles. The central purpose of this research is to assess the impact and relationship of John Rawls's theory of democratic peace with the European unio‎n. Based on Rawls's view of democratic peace, the European unio‎n is being examined as an example. In this regard, by carefully examining the foundations of Rawls's theory and evaluating the process of EU formation since convergence, we consider the unity in the European unio‎n as an example of the realization of John Rawls's theory of democratic peace. Moreover, we study the multiplicity of opinions, the acceptance of the principle of tolerance, the reasonableness of the members of the unio‎n, the acceptance of the principle of public wisdom, and the commitment of unio‎n members to the unio‎n's stability and its subject-matter according to Rawls’s theory.
