جرم به ويژه از نوع خشونت آميز آن، گاه از برخي افراد روي مي دهد و پيامدهاي آن نه صرفاً دامن خود آن ها و قربانيانشان، بلكه گريبان جامعه را نيز مي گيرد و مشكلاتي از جمله احساس ناامني و كاهش ضريب سلامت و شادابي اجتماعي را براي جامعه ايجاد مي كند. هدف اين نوشتار آن است كه با رويكردي ميان رشته اي و با به ميان آوردن پاي جامعه شناسي و جغرافيا، به بررسي جرم شرارت و به تحليل فضايي اجتماعي شرارت در شهر كرمانشاه بپردازد. داده هاي اين تحقيق، از مراكزي مانند مركز تحقيقات ناجا و استانداري در نظر گرفته شده است. از » روش تحليل آمارهاي موجود « ، جمع آوري شده اند. براي بررسي اين داده ها براي توصيف و تبيين SPSS دو روش تحليل اساسي در پژوهش استفاده شده است. از نرم افزار آماري متغيرها و براي شناسايي و درك الگوي مكاني و فضايي جرم، مدل هاي آماري و گرافيك مبنا در محيط مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است. براي سنجش سطح توسعه يافتگي و سطح (GIS) سامانه اطلاعات جغرافيايي برخورداري محلات نيز، روش تاكسونومي عددي و موريس با استفاده از نرم افزار اكسل، استفاده شده است. يافته ها نشان مي دهد محلات كرمانشاه از نظر سطح برخورداري، توزيع يكساني ندارد و به پنج سطح نابرابر تقسيم بندي مي شود. نتيجه آزمون خوشه بندي و شاخص نزديك ترين همسايه حاكي از آن است كه توزيع شرارت از الگوي يكنواخت تبعيت مي كند و خوشه اي نيست. با اين حال برخي از محلات به ويژه محلات فقيرنشين از نرخ جرم بالاتري برخوردارند. ميزان همبستگي بين نابرابري و شرارت نيز 0/226 بوده و با سطح 95 درصد اطمينان، معنادار است. در نهايت، تا جائيكه به نتيجه اين تحقيق برمي گردد، مكان ها و محلات مختلف با سطح برخورداري متفاوت از امكانات و تسهيلات، زمينه تبلور نابرابري اجتماعي بين محلات و ساكنان آن را فراهم مي كنند و از طرفي شكل گيري جرم چه از حيث نوع آن و چه از نظر نرخ، در فضاهاي مختلف متفاوت است. به عبارت ديگر ماهيت فضا، به جرم شكل مي بخشد. از سوي ديگر نابرابري اجتماعي بر وقوع جرم بسيار تأثيرگذار است و زمينه لازم را براي وقوع جرم ايجاد مي نمايد، گرچه نوع تأثير آن در محله هاي مختلف شكل يكساني ندارد.
