اين پژوهش، با هدف بررسي ارتباط مؤلفه هاي سرمايه اجتماعي بانظم و امنيت اجتماعي انجام شده است. جامعه آماري پژوهش حاضر متشكل از 300 نفراز زنان و مردان (150 نفر مرد و 150 نفر زن) شهر كرمانشاه است كه با روش نمونه گيري، به صورت تصادفي ساده انتخاب شده است. اين پژوهش، با روش تبييني از نوع پيمايش انجام گرفته است. به منظور آزمون فرضيه هاي پژوهش و پاسخگويي به آ نها، از آزمون معناداري ضريب پيرسون استفاده شده است. فرضيه هاي تحقيق مبني بر رابطه سرمايه، اعتماد، مشاركت، حمايت اجتماعي با نظم و امنيت اجتماعي تأييد گرديد؛ اما رابطه انسجام اجتماعي بانظم و امنيت اجتماعي تأييد نشد، به عبارت ديگر، بين سرمايه، اعتماد، مشاركت، حمايت اجتماعي با نظم و امنيت اجتماعي رابطه معناداري وجود دارد و بين انسجام اجتماعي بانظم و امنيت اجتماعي رابطه معناداري وجود ندارد.
