Investigating the Commanding Strategies of Martyr Lieutenant General Ali Sayyad Shirazi in the Era of the Holy Defense (Promotional article)

يكي از زواياي مهم و كمتر توجه‌شدۀ تاريخ‌نگاري جنگ تحميلي رژيم بعثي عراق عليه ايران، بررسي نقش فرماندهان در مديريت و تصميم‌گيري‌هاي راهبردي است كه نقش مهمي در سرنوشت جنگ تحميلي داشت. شهيد امير سپهبد علي صياد شيرازي يكي از مؤثرترين فرماندهان دوران دفاع مقدس بود كه با تدبير هوشمندانه و دقيق خود در فرماندهي، اهداف رژيم بعثي عراق را كه از پشتيباني كشورهاي مختلف نيز بهره‌مند بودند، با ناكامي و شكست مواجه كرد. علاوه‌بر اين، شيوه‌هاي مديريتي و فرماندهي وي نيز به‌عنوان يك الگوي موفق در سطوح مختلف فرماندهي و مديريتي براي فرماندهان و مديران قابل‌استفاده و قابل‌انتقال به نسل‌هاي آينده است. از اين‌رو، هدف از اين پژوهش، بررسي راهبردهاي فرماندهي شهيد صياد شيرازي بوده و اين پرسش مطرح شده كه ايشان در زمان فرماندهي‌شان، از چه راهبردهايي استفاده نموده‌اند. روش به‌كار گرفته‌شده در اين پژوهش، روش كيفي بررسي مكتوبات و نوشته‌هاي دردسترس دربارۀ شهيد صياد شيرازي است. نتايج اين پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه شهيد صياد شيرازي به‌واسطۀ طراحي و برنامه‌ريزي دقيق عمليات‌ها، كنترل و سازمان‌دهي امور جبهه، تخصص و نبوغ نظامي و فرماندهي خود باعث موفقيت‌هاي چشمگيري در دوران پرافتخار دفاع مقدس شد.

This study is aimed at identifying the strategies that Martyr Lieutenant General Ali Sayyad Shirazi applied while commanding in the era of the holy defense. This is a qualitative research which follows documentary analysis. One of the most significant aspect of the Holy Defense which has not been considered enough in historiography of the Iran-Iraq war, regards the essential roles that the commanders played in the management and strategic decision making in the war. These strategies were the most serious military decisions having affected the outcome of the war. Hence, the researchers have tried to point out some of the commanding strategies of Martyr Lieutenant General Ali Sayad Shirazi. Making use of his extraordinary tact in commanding, he became one of the most influential commanders of the Holy Defense who led to defeat the goals of the invading Iraqi divisions that enjoyed the support of other countries as well. Moreover, his valuable and successful commanding and management model at different levels can be referred to in the training of the future generation commanders. The results of this study illustrated that Martyr Ali Sayyad Shirazi, led the war to victory in the most eventful period of the imposed war by designing and planning operations, controlling and organizing the affairs of the front, employing his military expertise, genius, and commanding power. Therefore, following the life story of this great martyr, young generation of these days can acquire great lessons and messages. By understanding the secrets of his success, they can make a great model from him.
