هدف از نوشتن اين مقاله، نقد محتوايي و شكلي كتاب جستارهايي در چيستي هنر اسلامي (مجموعه مقالات و درس‌گفتارها) است، اين كتاب از جمله كتاب‌هاي مبنايي در مورد گفتمان هنر اسلامي با رويكردهاي مختلف به شمار مي‌رود. نويسندگان مقالات اين كتاب، با طرح مباحث نظري در چارچوب نگرش‌هاي تاريخ‌نگارانه، اشراقي، فقهي، عرفاني، جامعه‌شناختي، نشانه‌شناختي و هرمنوتيك به دنبال بررسي ماهيت و چيستي هنر اسلامي بوده اند.مسئله اصلي اين مقاله طرح اين پرسش بنيادي است كه رويكردهاي عرفاني و حكمي به عنوان گفتمان سنت‌گرا و نيز رويكردهاي تاريخ‌گرا به عنوان گفتمان‌هاي توصيف محور چگونه مي‌توانند هنر اسلامي را تحليل و تفسير نمايند و از برايند آن روزنه‌هاي درك و دريافت پيچيدگي‌هاي گفتمان هنر اسلامي را براي ما آشكار سازند. ضرورت و اهميت نگاه نقادانه به كتاب جستارهايي در چيستي هنر اسلامي به منظور تحليل دقيق‌تر و نيز تبيين سازوكارهاي و ويژگي‌هاي رويكردهاي مختلف در تحليل گفتمان هنر اسلامي است. به همين دليل نشان دادن اهميت كتاب مورد بحث با آشكارسازيِ كاركردهاي تحليلي آن با هدف راهنمايي مخاطبين و دانشجوياني كه دغدغه مطالعات هنر اسلامي را دارند، ضروري است.

The aim of this article is to critical reading the content and form of a book on Islamic Art (collection of essays and Lectures). This book is one of the basic books on Islamic art discourse with different approaches. The authors of this book have sought to study the nature of Islamic art, through theoretical discussions in the context of historiographical, jurisprudential, mystical, sociological, semiotic, and hermeneutic attitudes. The main issue of this paper is to raise the fundamental question of how mystical and judgmental approaches to traditionalist discourse as well as historical approaches to descriptive discourse can analyze and interpret Islamic art and thus open the door to understanding and understanding the complexities of Islamic art discourse. We reveal the formation. The importance and critical importance of a critical look at Islamic art textbooks for a more detailed analysis as well as explaining the mechanisms and characteristics of the various approaches to Islamic art discourse analysis. For this reason, it is necessary to demonstrate the importance of the book in question by revealing its analytical functions aimed at guiding audiences and students concerned with Islamic art studies.
