Critical study of Book of Historiography: An Introduction

كتاب مقدمه‌اي بر تاريخنگاري نوشته راجر اسپالدينگ و كريستوفر پاركر است كه در هفت فصل به مسائل مختلفي در زمينه‌ي تاريخنگاري پرداخته‌اند و مباحثي مرتبط با فلسفه تاريخ و روش تحقيق در تاريخ را نيز مورد بررسي قرار داده‌اند. نويسندگان تأكيد خود را بر علم تاريخ(تاريخ به مثابه گزارش) قرار داده و مؤلفه‌ي اساسي در جستار‌هاي تاريخي را بررسي مكاتب تاريخي و فكري بشمار دانسته‌اند. از اين روي نويسندگان به مباحث و مكاتبي چون تاريخنگاري حزب ويگ، انديشه پيشرفت، نازيسم، جنسيت در تاريخ، ماركسيسم و تاريخ فرهنگي پرداخته‌اند. بخش‌هاي مزبور تواند كه سرنموني جهت بررسي مكاتب فكري و تاريخي باشد. علاوه بر اين نويسندگان فصلي را نيز به روش نوشتن مقاله در دوره كارشناسي اختصاص داده‌اند كه درسنامه‌ي نافعي فراروي دانشجويان مي‌نهد. مقاله حاضر كه با رويكرد تحليلي به نگارش درآمده به بررسي انتقادي كتاب مقدمه‌اي بر تاريخنگاري پرداخته و به اين نتيجه رسيده كه كتاب مورد بررسي علي‌رغم ضعف‌ها، ايرادات نگرشي وارد بر نويسندگان و زاويه‌ي ديد محدود، راهنماي سودمندي در زمينه نگارش مقاله در دوره كارشناسي و الگوي مطلوبي براي بررسي مكاتب تاريخي است.

Book Historiography: An Introduction written by Roger Spalding and Cristopher Parker that in seven chapters have study various issues in the field of historiography and have been explored contents on the philosophy of history and the method of research in history. The authors place their emphasis on the science of history (history as a report) and consider the essential component of historical inquiry as the study of historical and intellectual schools. The authors have therefore studied schools such as the Whig historiography, progressive Idea, National Socialism, Gender in history, Marxism, and cultural history. These sections can be a model for studying historical and intellectual schools. In addition, writers have written about undergraduate essay writing tips that are useful for students. The present article, writing with an analytical approach and critically study the book of Historiography: An Introduction and it conclude that the book despite its weaknesses, defects of writer's theories, and limited viewing is a useful guide for undergraduate essay writing and a good model for studying historical schools.
