معرفي و ارزيابي كتاب «رابطه منطقي دين و علوم كاربردي»

The Logical Relationship between Religion and Applied Sciences : A critical Review

با اينكه از زمان انتشار نخسيتن چاپ كتاب «رابطه منطقي دين و علوم كاربردي» بيش از دو دهه مي گذرد، اما با توجه به اينكه اين كتاب يكي از منسجم ترين آثاري است كه موضع اين جريان فكري را نمايندگي مي كند، كتاب را شايسته معرفي و نقد دانستيم.در اين كتاب نويسنده كوشيده است تا با توجه به ادبيات آكادميك در موضوعاتي همچون علم، تكنولوژي و توسعه و از سوي ديگر با عنايت به مباني فكري فرهنگستان علوم اسلامي، به تاملات قابل اعتنايي دست يابد . در اين مقاله نشان داده ايم كه مولف كتاب نسبت به مناقشات عمده معاصر در حوزه علم پژوهي و دين پژوهي اشراف چنداني ندارند؛ مناقشاتي كه از قضا با به چالش كشيدن هژموني اروپا- مسيحيت محور مطالعات علم و مطالعات ديني معاصر مي توانند فضايي براي طرحي متفاوت از مناسبات دين و فرهنگ تكنيكي معاصر بگشايند.از اين روي پيشنهاد مي گردد نويسنده با بهره گيري از آخرين دستاوردهاي علم پژوهشي و دين پژوهشي معاصر نسبت به ويرايش دوم اين كتاب يا نگارش كتابي جديد در اين زمينه اقدام نمايد.

Although more than two decades have passed since the publication of the first edition of The Logical Relationship between Religion and Applied Sciences, this book is still one of the most coherent and accurate works that shows the position of this intellectual current. The author of the book has tried to show the position of the Academy of Islamic Sciences on these issues, considering the academic literature on topics such as science, technology and development. So this book was seen for proper introduction and critique.In this article, we have shown that the author of the book does not have much control over the latest controversies in the field of science and religion studies - even in contemporary Iran. Today's controversy, which has challenged European-Christian hegemony based on the study of science and religion, could open a new space for a different view of the relationship between religion, culture, and technology. Therefore, it is expected that the author will write the second edition of the book, considering the latest achievements of contemporary scientology and theology.
