بررسي قالب هاي معنايي و روش هاي بيان جهت در فعل هاي حركتي فارسي: آمدن و رفتن

The Study of Semantic Frames and the Way of Expressing Direction in Persian Motion Verbs: Case of “Come” and “Go

پژوهش حاضر، با تمركز بر دو مسير بالا و پايين و تركيب اين دو با فعل هاي حركتي رفتن و آمدن، كوشيده است تا قالب هاي معنايي فعل هاي ساخته شده از اين دو مسير را در دو زبان فارسي و انگليسي با يكديگر مقايسه كند و به اين ترتيب، كارايي پايگاه شبكه قالبي را براي توصيف زبان فارسي بررسي نمايد. بدين منظور، تعداد (120) جمله شامل فعل هاي مسيرنماي پيش گفته از پيكره اصلي بي جن خان استخراج و سپس سعي شد با استفاده از پايگاه شبكه قالبي، قالب هاي معنايي هركدام از اين افعال با معادل انگليسي آن مقايسه شود. درنهايت نگارندگان با مقايسه قالب ها به اين نتيجه رسيدند كه شبكه قالبي براي آن دسته از فعل هاي مسيرنماي فارسي كه مسير يا جهت را در قيد پيشوندي فعل كدگذاري مي كنند، قالب متفاوتي با معادل انگليسي آن دارد؛ ازسوي ديگر، در نوشتار پيش رو به روابط استعاري اين افعال با قالب هاي معنايي ديگر نيز اشاره شد و به طور كلي اين نتيجه به دست آمد كه زبان ويژه بودن اين نوع رابطه و همچنين بازنمود نحوي متفاوت افعال و كدگذاري مختلف جهت در آن ها، بيان گر لزوم درنظرگرفتن تفاوت هاي زباني به منظور كارايي بيشتر شبكه قالبي براي توصيف زبان هاي ديگر است.

Focusing on the two paths bala (=up) and payin (=down) and the combination of these two with the motion verbs rᴂftᴂn (=go) and amᴂdᴂn (=come), the present research has attempted to make a comparison between the semantic frames of the verbs made out of the two paths in Persian and English so that it can examine the practicality of the FrameNet for describing the Persian language. To this end, a number of 120 sentences including the aforementioned path verbs were extracted from the major Corpus of Bijankhan and then, it was attempted to make a comparison between the semantic frames of each verb with their English counterparts via the FrameNet database. Ultimately, comparing the frames, the authors concluded that for those Persian path verbs which encode path or direction on the prefix adverb of the verb, the FrameNet provides a frame different from their English equivalents. On the other hand, in the current study, the metaphorical relationships of these verbs with other semantic frames were also addressed. The general conclusion was that language-specificity of the relation, the syntactic representation of the verbs, and different encoding of direction are good indication of the necessity of considering linguistic distinctions for additional practicality of the FrameNet to describe other languages.
