نقد و بررسي تطبيقي ديدگاه‌هاي موافق و مخالف كنترل جمعيت

A Comparative Study on the Pros and Cons of Population Control

پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسي تطبيقي ادله برون‌ديني و درون‌ديني در مورد كثرت جمعيت انجام شد و با تشريح و تبيين آيات و روايات، مباني نظري افرادي كه معتقد به ضرورت كاهش و كنترل جمعيت هستند مورد نقد و بررسي قرار گرفته است.يافته‌هاي نشان داد كه بسياري از ادلّه برون‌ديني مثل اصل سودگرايي، آرمان‌گرايي، حقوق طبيعي وغيره فقط بر بعد مادي انسان به طور ناقص تكيه كرده و از آرمان‌هاي حقيقي و سودهاي حداكثري غفلت نموده‌اند، به‌طوري‌كه آيات و روايات موافق كنترل جمعيت را بدون توجه به آيات و روايات مشوق و مؤيد تكثر جمعيت و ازدياد نسل تفسير نموده‌اند.

This review-analytical study tried to comparatively investigate the extra-religious and intra-religious arguments about population increase. By explaining the Quranic verses and narratives, the theoretical foundations of people, who believe in decreasing and controlling population, were analyzed; thus, related sources including papers and books were reviewed, and it was determined that there was no research that examined the subject of this study. The results demonstrated that many extra-religious arguments, such as the principle of utilitarianism, idealism, natural rights, etc., only incompletely concentrate on the material dimension of human and ignore real ideals and maximum profits, so that they interpret the verses and narratives in agreement with population control without considering those which encourage and confirm population increase. Therefore, Islam emphasizes both the high quality and high quantity of population, as it can be inferred from some extra-religious arguments which forbid population control.
