افسران پليس در ايجاد و حفظ آرامش جامعه نقش مهمي دارند كه عوامل مختلفي بر عملكرد آنان اثرگذار است. از خودگذشتگي، كنترل خشم و تصميم‌گيري صحيح و رويكرد مناسب آنها مي‌تواند خيلي از مشكلات در اين زمينه را حل كند. نوعي از تصميم‌گيري صحيح، روش تصميم‌گيري حكيمانه است كه مي‌تواند متأثر از خودشيفتگي و كنترل خشم باشد و منجر به قضاوت صحيح و پيامدهاي مثبت شود. هدف تحقيق حاضر بررسي تأثير خودشيفتگي و كنترل خشم بر تصميم‌گيري حكيمانه و اثر آنها بر عملكرد كاري افسران پليس است. جامعه آماري ستاد فرماندهي نيروي انتظامي يكي از شهرستانهاي غرب كشور است كه 120 افسر پليس به عنوان نمونه آماري انتخاب شدند. براي جمع-آوري داده‌ها از پرسشنامه استفاده شد. روايي پرسشنامه از طريق نظر خبرگان و پايايي از طريق آلفاي كرونباخ تأييد شد. فرضيه‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار ليزرل مورد تحليل قرار گرفت. نتايج نشان داد خودشيفتگي بر كنترل خشم و تصميم‌گيري حكيمانه افسران پليس اثر منفي و معنادار دارد. كنترل خشم بر تصميم‌گيري حكيمانه افسران پليس اثر مثبت و معنادار دارد. كنترل خشم و تصميم‌گيري حكيمانه بر عملكرد كاري افسران پليس اثر مثبت و معنادار دارد. در كل نتايج حاكي از آن بود كه افراد بايد در مواجه با موقعيتهاي كاري در وهله اول بتوانند خشم خود را كنترل كرده و همچنين با قضاوت صحيح، منطقي و اخلاق‌مداري ناشي از حكمت، تصميم مناسبي را اتخاذ نمايند.

Police officers have an important role in tranquillity preservation of the society, and many factors affect an their performance. Self-denial, anger control, right decision and their right approach can solve many social problems. An appropriate decision is wise decision-making process that can be affected by narcissism and anger control and leads to judgment and positive outcomes. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of narcissism and anger in wise decisions and ultimately their impact on work performance of police officers. Research method was descriptive and correlational. Statistical society was the population of all police officers in one of the cities in west of country, that 120 police officers were selected as sample. A questionnaire was used for gathering data. Validity of questionnaire by experts and reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha. Check hypotheses using LISREL software were analyzed. The results of this study showed that narcissism has negative and significant effect on anger control and police officers wise decision. Anger control has a positive and significant effect on wise decision-making of police officers. Anger control and wise decisions has a positive and significant effect on work performance of police officers. Police officer need to in the face of work situations, in the first place to be able to control their anger and as well as with right and logical judgment and ethical caused by wisdom, take the appropriate decision.
