پژوهش حاضر با توجه به رشد روزافزون گردشگران مسلمان در جهان تاليف شده است و هدف اين پژوهش معرفي بازار گردشگري حلال و شناخت چالش ها و فرصت هاي ايران در اين بازار است. با در نظر گرفتن افزايش مسافرت مسلمانان ، يك فرصت عظيم در صنعت گردشگري براي همه ذينفعان به وجود آمده است كه نياز به بررسي ، درك و رفع احتياجات فرهنگي و مذهبي مسافران مسلمان براي ايجاد محصولات و خدمات متناسب با آن ها را دارد . بنابراين در اين راستا به بررسي عوامل موثر در گردشگري حلال و همچنين رتبه ايران در جهان با توجه به "گزارش سالانه شاخص سفر جهاني مسلمانان در سال 2019" پرداخته ايم و ازآنجاكه گردشگري حلال به سريع ترين رشد نوع گردشگري در صنعت سفر جهاني رسيده است، نياز به مطالعه و مقايسه با ساير كشورهاي مسلمان در اين نوع گردشگري و شناخت فرصت ها و معرفي چالش ها را دارد تا با اهتمام دولت هرچه سريع تر چالش ها تبديل به فرصت شده و ايران در رتبه بالاتري در گردشگري حلال قرار بگيرد.

This study has been written about the growing of Muslim tourists in the world with the aim of introducing halal tourism in Iran and recognizing Iran's challenges and opportunities in this market. an‎d this causes a huge opportunity for all stakeholders, in the tourism industry, due to the growth of travel desire, in Muslim travelers. That requires study and understanding, the cultural and religious needs of Muslim travelers, to create products and services that they required. Therefore, in this regard, to study the factors affecting in halal tourism and Iran's ranking in the world of halal tourism according to the annual report of the Muslim World Travel Index for 2019. In addition, since halal tourism has become the fastest growing industry in the global travel industry, Iran should study and compare it with other pioneering Muslim countries in halal tourism and recognizing opportunities and introducing challenges of Iran so that, with government support, challenges convert to opportunities and hence improve Iran's ranking in this industry.
