Semantic correspondence of two pairs of general words and Sunnah in the Qur'an (based on relative synonymy)

كلمات «سنة و عام» كه هر دو در قرآن استعمال شده اند، در ابتداي امر هم معنا تلقي مي شوند. اين نوشتار به دنبال پاسخگويي به وجوه معنايي اين دو زوج واژه در آيات قرآن كريم است. اين پژوهش با روش توصيفي- تحليلي، صورت گرفته است. با مراجعه و دقت در كتاب هاي لغوي و بافت تاريخي آيات، روشن شد اين دو زوج واژه هر كدام في ذاته در قرآن در سه وجه معنايي به كار رفته است. وجه اشتراك آنها در مدلول حقيقي(گاه شماري قمري)، و مدلول مجازي(زمان) است. و تمايز معنايي آنها در اين است كه «سنة» براي گاه شماري قمري و شمسي هر دو اطلاق شده و اعم از كلمه « عام» است كه تنها براي گاه شماري قمري استفاده شده است، همچنين اين دو واژه مطابق كاربردشان در برخي آيات، در يكي از وجوه معنايي آنها با يكديگر در تضاد هستند. «سنة» براي سالي به كار رفته، كه در آن خشكسالي، حوادث سخت و ابتلاءات سخت الهي رخ داده است، اما «عام» براي سالي استعمال شده، كه در آن ترسالي، فراواني نعمت و آسايش در زندگي وجود داشته است.

By referring and paying attention to the lexical books and the historical context of the verses, it became clear that these two pairs of words are each inherently used in the Qur'an in three semantic aspects. What they have in common is the real meaning (lunar calendar) and the virtual meaning (time). an‎d the difference between them is that "Sanah" is used for both lunar and solar calendars and includes the word "Aaam" which is used only for lunar calendars. Also, these two words, according to their use in some verses, are in conflict with each other in one of their semantic aspects. "Sanah" is used for a year in which drought, severe events, and severe divine afflictions have occurred. But "Aaam" is used for a year in which there was a lot of abundance of blessings and comfort in life.
