تروريسم و گرايش به خشونت و افراطي‌گري از جمله پديده‌هايي است كه بيش‌ترين تهديد را عليه صلح و امنيت بين‌المللي در سال‌هاي اخير رقم زده است. از بين مناطق مختلف جهان، منطقه خاورميانه و شمال آفريقا بيش‌تر از ساير مناطق با پديده تروريسم و افراطي‌گري دست و پنجه نرم مي‌كند، كه جمهوري اسلامي ايران به‌ عنوان قلب تپنده اين منطقه با ايفاي نقش‌هاي مقابله‌اي، همواره در معرض تهديدات گروه‌هاي مختلف تروريستي اعم از طالبان، القاعده، داعش و بسياري ديگر از گروه‌هاي تروريستي و افراطي بوده است. تروريسم پديده‌اي است كه تفاوتي بين افراد نظامي و غير نظامي قائل نمي‌شود، بلكه اكثر اوقات با استفاده از كشتار غير نظاميان مي‌خواهد به اهداف سياسي و ناعادلانه خود دست يابد. دلايل بروز تروريسم در منطقه را مي‌توان در زمينه‌هاي مختلف از جمله سياسي، اجتماعي، اقتصادي و فرهنگي و از همه مهم‌تر دولت اسرائيل جستجو كرد. در اين نوشتار در پي آن هستيم كه نشان دهيم اين گروه‌هاي تروريستي چگونه به سرعت در منطقه گسترش يافته‌اند، راهبرد آنان چيست؟، راه‌كارهاي مقابله مؤثر با آنان كدامند و نقش جمهوري اسلامي ايران كه از بدو تشكيل قرباني اعمال خصمانه تروريسم بوده است و با استفاده از قدرت مردمي به مقابله همه‌جانبه با آنان پرداخته و امنيت ملي خود را حفظ كرده را بررسي كنيم.

Terrorism and the tendency towards violence and extremism are among the phenomena that have become the greatest threat to international peace and security in recent years. From different parts of the world, the Middle East and North Africa are struggling with the phenomenon of terrorism and extremism more than other regions. The Islamic Republic of Iran, as the heart of this region with coping roles, Has always been at the risk of various terrorist groups, including the Taliban, al-Qaeda, ISIL and many other terrorist and extremist groups. Terrorism is a phenomenon that does not discriminate between military and civilians. But it often wants to use its killing of civilians to achieve its political and unfair goals. The causes of terrorism in the region can be found in various areas, including political, social, economic and cultural, and most importantly the Israeli government. In this article, we are going to show how these terrorist groups have expanded rapidly in the region, what is their strategy? What are the effective coping strategies with them? and the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has been the victim of the hostile acts of terrorism since its inception and using the power of the people to deal with them in a comprehensive manner and maintain their national security.
