چكيده فارسي :
هدف از نگارش اين مقاله، بررسي اهميت پرتو نگاري و كاربرد شتاب‌دهنده‌ها در امور امنيتي و دفاعي بوده است. در اين مقاله علاوه بر بررسي كاربردهاي گسترده شتاب‌دهنده‌ها در امور امنيتي، پرتونگاري كاربرد اشعه ايكس ري براي رديابي و كشف مواد، كالاي قاچاق و غيرقانوني، اسكن و شناسايي و يافتن مواد منفجره، انواع سلاح، مواد مخدر و كالاي قاچاق است تشريح شده است. هم‌چنين بازرسي هواپيماها، محموله‌ها، شناسايي مواد مخدر و ... از كاربردهاي پرتونگاري است كه در اين تحقيق مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است.
امروزه در معابر ورودي رسمي مانند گمرك، فرودگاه، مرز، فناوري‌هاي نوين دستگاه‌هاي ايكس ري يكي از مهم‌ترين تجهيزات مورد استفاده است. به هنگام ورود و خروج و براي كشف كالاي قاچاق، انواع سلاح كمري گرم و سرد، گوشي همراه، ابزار و قطعات فلزي (در خروجي كارگاه‌ها) و غيره از آن استفاده مي‌شود. اين دستگاه تمام اشياء و اجناس داخل چمدان، جعبه و هر نوع وسيله مخفي را نشان مي‌دهد. دستگاه ايكس ري به‌عنوان آشكارساز مواد مخدر بر اساس فناوري نوين طيف‌سنجي تحرك يوني (IMS) قادر به شناسايي مواد مخدر هروئين، مرفين، حشيش، ترياك، كوكائين، كدئين، كراك، شيشه و قرص‌هاي اكستازي (X) است و قابليت آشكارسازي و كاليبراسيون براي مواد مخدر جديد را داراست.

The present paper was authored to examine the significance of radiography and the application of the accelerators in the defense and security areas. To this end, the diverse applications of the accelerators in the security areas and the use of the X-ray radiography in tracking and detecting narcotics smuggled, illegal goods, explosives, weapons, narcotics and smuggled goods are illuminated. Radiography can also be employed for the inspection of airplanes, cargos, and narcotics as explained in this research. Today, X-ray devices are among the most important devices used in the public entrances such as customs offices, airports, and border administrations. This technology is also used at the entrance or exit gates to find smuggled goods, firearms, cold weapons, mobile phones, metal parts (in the exits of workshops), etc. These devices reveal all of the objects and items inside a suitcase or box or any hidden object. X-ray devices use ion mobility spectroscopy (IMS) technology to find narcotics such as heroin, morphine, cannabis, opium, cocaine, codeine, crack, meth, and ecstasy. They are also capable of calibration and detection of new narcotics.
