رسانه‌هاي جمعي نقشي مؤثر در تغيير نگرش افراد و فرهنگ‌سازي در جامعه دارند. در ميان رسانه‌ها تلويزيون تأثير بسيار زيادي در تعليم و تربيت انسان‌ها دارد. چون تلويزيون حس شنوايي و بينايي انسان‌ را درگير مي‌كند نسبت به بقيۀ رسانه‌ها تأثير بيشتر و عميق‌تري روي انسان دارد، بنابراين بايد در انتخاب برنامه‌هاي تلويزيون توجه ويژه‌اي داشت چرا كه مي‌توان از اين رسانه براي آموزش همگاني افراد بهره كافي جست. در اين پژوهش به سطح آموزش مردم و ميزان استفاده از برنامه‌هاي تلويزيوني استان خوزستان پرداخته خواهد شد. در اين پژوهش از روش‌هاي تحقيق توصيفي-تحليلي و موردي، در بستر مطالعات كتابخانه‌اي و ميداني و براي تجزيه و تحليل اطلاعات از نرم‌افزار spss استفاده شده است. با توجه به نتايج تحقيق مي‌توان گفت بين دو متغير سطح آموزش مردم و ميزان استفاده از برنامه هاي تلويزيوني استان مزبور با اطمينان زياد (0/01 > 0/000= sig) رابطه معني دار وجود دارد.
