چكيده فارسي :
هدف از اين مقاله بررسي انتقادي كتاب دانش‌آموز و كتاب كار درس زبان انگليسي ويژۀ دانش‌آموزان پيش‌حرفه‌اي پايۀ هشتم ويژۀ دانش‌آموزان كم‌توان ذهني است. روش پژوهش حاضر توصيفي- تحليلي است. با توجه به معيارهاي پيشنهادي نقد شوراي بررسي متون و كتب علوم انساني، نقاط قوت و ضعف شكلي و محتوايي اثر ارائه گرديد و سپس پيشنهادهايي براي بهبود كيفيت كتاب و متناسب‌سازي محتواي آن با توجه به سطح توانمندي دانش‌آموزان كم‌توان ذهني داده شد. از مهم‌ترين نقاط قوت كتاب اختصاص دادن بخشي ويژه به مرور و يادآوري مطالب آموزشي پايۀ هفتم، معرفي كاركردهاي زباني و روال‌هاي اجتماعي، و چاپ رنگي كتاب است و از مهم‌ترين نقاط ضعف كتاب علاوه بر آموزش سنتي حروف الفبا، آموزش نامناسب اعداد، ارائۀ تمرين‌هاي پيچيده و نامناسب و كيفيت پايين تصاوير مي‌توان به عدم انطباق عناوين درس‌ها با محتوا اشاره نمود.
چكيده لاتين :
The purpose of this article was to review the English course book (Student Book 2 and its workbook) developed for 8th graders with intellectual disabilities. The method applied was descriptive – analytic. Regarding the proposed criteria by the Council for Reviewing Books and Texts on Humanities, areas of strength and weak points in terms of form and content were presented. Moreover, series of suggestions were proposed to enhance both the quality and the content of the book regarding their capabilities. The strong points of this package could be pointed out as allocating a specific section to recap what students have learned in 7th grade, presenting language functions and social routines, and color printing of the student book. Apart from the old-fashioned way of teaching English alphabets, the inappropriate method of introducing numbers, developing improper and vague activities regarding the students’ capabilities, and the low quality of the pictures, the essential weakness of the book was the issue that there was not that much conformity between the title of each lesson and the content.
