Being a Servant of God, Humiliation or Honor? A Rational Explanation Relying on the Verses and Hadiths

مسئله اصلي پژوهش حاضر اين است كه خدا به عبادت انسان نيازي ندارد، اما چرا او را به تذلل در برابر خود امر كرده است؟ پاسخ اين است كه كرنش و تذلل در برابر خدا، عيناً عزت و تعالي انسان است. اين ادعا با تبيين فلسفي و با شيوه‌ي توصيفي‌ ـ ‌تحليلي بررسي و با استشهاد به آيات و روايات اثبات شده است. تكيه‌گاه فلسفي در اين بحث، آموزه‌ي «وجود رابط معلول نسبت به علت» است. ضمن توضيح اين مسئله، تبيين شده كه انسان فعل خدا است و وجودي رابط دارد؛ و همان‌طور كه وجود رابط متقوم به وجود مستقلِ مربوطٌ اليه است، علم به وجود رابط نيز متقوم به علم به وجود مستقل است. در اين پژوهش به اين يافته مي‌رسيم كه انسان با دريافت تحقيرهاي تكويني و تشريعيِ خدا، با حقيقت رابط خود، و در پي آن با ذات مستقل و بي‌نياز خدا آشنا مي‌شود. از آن‌جا كه تحقق علم حضوري بدون اتحاد وجودي عالم و معلوم معنا ندارد، او با هستي مستقل خدا ارتباط وجودي آگاهانه پيدا مي‌كند و به عزت الاهي مي‌رسد.

The main issue of the present study lies in the fact that God does not need man`s worship, but why did He command him to humiliate Himself? The answer is that humiliation before God is the very dignity and transcendence of man. This claim has been studied by philosophical explanation and descriptive-analytical method and has been proved by quoting verses and hadiths. This study has been founded on the philosophical teaching of fully dependent existence of the caused in relation to its cause. While explaining this issue, it is explained that man is the act of God and of a fully dependent existence; an‎d just as the existence of a relation is fully dependent on the existence of its corresponding independent cause, so the knowledge to the existence of the former is based on the knowledge of the latter. In this study, we come to the conclusion that man, by receiving the creational and legislative humiliations by God, becomes acquainted with the truth of his relationship, and consequently with the independent and needless nature of God. Since the realization of the present knowledge has no meaning without an existential unity of the knowing and the known, he finds a conscious existential connection with the independent existence of God and attains divine honor.
