تفاوت انسان‌هاي معمولي و هنرمند، در شناخت و چگونگي انتقال عاطفه است. عاطفه همان هيجان در روان­شناسي است كه به­ دنبال احساس‌هايي همچون خشم، ترس، غم و شادي بروز مي‌كند. هدف از پژوهش حاضر تحليل و شناساندن عاطفه از ديدگاه ادبيّات و روان‌شناسي و بيان ويژگي‌هاي عاطفي شخصيّت‌ها در داستان مارون از بلقيس سليماني است. نوشتار پيش رو با روش توصيفي - تحليلي و استفاده از منابع كتابخانه‌اي، با ابزار فيش نگاشته شده است. پيش از دهة نود هجري، هيچ منبعي به‌طور مجزّا عاطفه در ادبيّات و علم روان‌شناسي را بررسي تطبيقي نكرده است. داستان مارون بلقيس سليماني داستاني رئاليستي است. شخصيّت اصلي زني سركش است كه رفتارش همچون مردها است. اين داستان حسّ خشم، عصبانيت، ترس و نفرت را به خواننده انتقال مي‌دهد. نويسنده براي معرّفي شخصيّت‌ها به‌خوبي از فرايندهاي هيجاني كمك گرفته تا ضمن انتقال احساس و عاطفه، شخصيّت هم شناخته شود. نتيجة به­ دست آمده، قطعيت در تأثير نويسنده بر مخاطب از راه بيان عاطفه در داستان است. نويسندگان بايد ماهيت تفكّر مخاطبان را بشناسند تا روش‌هاي بهتري را براي داستان‌نويسي و ايجاد ارتباط با آن‌ها بيابند و به­طور قطع اگر فرايندهاي ذهني افرادي را كه براي آن‌ها مي‌نويسند درك كنند، در كار خود موفّق‌تر خواهند بود.

Artistic people are distinguished from ordinary people by their ability both to appreciate emotion and to convey it. Psychologically speaking, emotion is the same thing as excitement which is usually followed by feelings such as anger, fear, sorrow and happiness. Analyzing and introducing emotion from the viewpoints of both literature and psychology, this research seeks to focus on the emotionrelated traits of the story characters of the Story Maroon by Belgheys Soleymani. Using the library card catalog, a descriptive-analytic method was chosen by this research which was among the first to comparatively study emotion in literature and psychology in the 2010s. Prior to the 90s, no single source of emotion in the literature and psychology had a comparative study of emotion. Maroon is a realistic story with a woman as the leading character who behaves not only in an unruly but also in a manly way.The story succeeds in communicating the emotions of anger, fear and hate to the reader, since the writer makes use of excitement-related processes to convey both emotion and feeling, making it possible [for the reader] to conceive the characters. This results in particularly impressing the audience by expressing emotion throughout the story. To sum up, knowing about their audiences' way of thinking, writers could find better tones in story-telling and communicating with their audience. This is because, having understood the mentality of their audience, writers can succeed in their works.
