بررسي و نقد كتاب واژه‌نامۀ توصيفي فرهنگ‌نويسي

در اين مقاله، «واژه­نامه توصيفي فرهنگ ­نويسي» نوشته فريبا قطره با رويكردي توصيفي – انتقادي مورد نقد و بررسي قرار گرفته است. براي اين منظور، هم جنبه­ هاي صوري و ساختاري كتاب از نظر رعايت اصول نگارش علمي مورد توجه قرار گرفته و هم محتواي كتاب از منظر چيستي و اهميت مطالب مندرج در آن مورد بررسي واقع شده است. از اين بابت كه مؤلف توانسته است براي اولين بار در زبان فارسي، فرهنگ تخصصي واژگان حوزه فرهنگ­ نويسي را با استفاده از منابع معتبر گردآوري، معادل­يابي و توصيف كند، كار ارزشمند و درخور توجهي صورت گرفته است، اما در عين حال ايراد­هايي نيز بر اين كتاب مترتب است. از نظر صوري به لحاظ شيوه نگارش، استفاده از قلم و اندازه مناسب براي برخي زيرمدخل­ ها ، ايرانيك كردن يا نكردن برخي واژه­ها، ترتيب الفبايي، نظام ارجاع­دهي و همچنين صفحه ­بندي، ناهماهنگي­ هايي در كتاب ديده مي­­شود. از نظر محتوايي هم كتاب داراي ايرادهايي است كه از ميان آنها مي­توان به نبود حد و مرز دقيق در تعريف برخي مدخل­ ها، ارائه برخي تعاريف بسيار كوتاه و ناكامل، فقدان برخي واژه­ هاي ضروري فرهنگ­ نويسي، ارجاع كور و گاهي اوقات گيج­ كننده براي كاربر، نبود جدول اعلام، نام­ها ، علائم آوايي و برخي كدهاي دستوري مورد نياز و همچنين عدم ارائه مثال مناسب در برخي موارد ضروري اشاره كرد.

In this study, the “Descriptive Glossary of Lexicography” compiled by Fariba Ghatreh has been described and evaluated. To do so, on the one hand, the formal appearance of the book concerning the principles of scientific writing has been taken into account, and on the other hand, the content of the book regarding the whatness and the importance of the materials presented has been scrutinized. Concerning the view that the author has been successful in compiling the first “Descriptive Glossary of Lexicography” in Persian, it is extremely valuable, but at the same time, some shortcomings meet the eyes while looking deeply into the book. From the formal point of view, mechanics of writing, proper use of some fonts and sizes for entries and subentries, italicizing or non-italicizing the entries, alphabetical order, reference system and layout of the pages, the book lacks some degree of inconsistency. From the content point of view, some faults are observed in the book, among which they can be referred to as the lack of crystal clear definitions for some entries, overlapping entries, the absence of some necessary terms in lexicography, some blind and confusing references and lack of examples and tables.
