چالش انتقال فرم و محتوا در ترجمۀ ادبيات غنايي با استناد به ترجمۀ يك غزل حافظ از فريدريش روكرت

The challenge of transforming form and content in lyrical literature translation, cited in a translation of a Hafez’s ġazal by Friedrich Rueckert

وقتي در ترجمۀ ادبيات غنايي از دغدغۀ انتقال فرم و محتوا سخن به ميان مي‌آيد، در وهلۀ نخست اين سؤال مطرح مي‌شود كه چه ظرفيت‌ها و توانمندي‌هايي در زبان مقصد براي انتقال اين مهم نهفته است؟ آنچه راه فريدريش روكرت را براي انتقال فرم و محتواي غزليات حافظ (حداقل به صورت نسبي) فراهم كرد، اين است كه او قبل از اقدام به ترجمه، برخي از مجموعه اشعار خود را به سبك فرم شعري غزل سروده و با وارد كردن آن به زبان آلماني، ظرفيت و توانمندي لازم را به ادبيات آلمان بخشيده بود. تثبيت فرم غزل در زبان آلماني، اين توانايي را به او داد كه همزمان به عنوان مترجم و اديب (شاعر) در ترجمه‌هاي خود به توفيق نسبي در انتقال فرم و محتواي شعر زبان مبدأ دست يافته و تفكر نويني از چگونگي انتقال فرم از زبان مبدأ به مقصد به يادگار نهد. اين تفكر نقش مهمي در تحقق شعار او "شعر جهاني آشتي جهاني است" داشته و در راستاي ايدۀ ادبيات جهاني قرار داشت.

When it comes to the concern of transfer of form and content in lyrical literature translation, the first step would be the question that “does basically the essential capacity to transfer the form exist in the target language and literature?” Friedrich Rueckert's innovative and creative solution to this problem is that at the first step, he has entered the poetic form from persian language and literature in German prior to translating poems of Hafez, making use of Persian language capacities in German language and literature. The consolidation of lyrical form of ġazal in German, gave him the opportunity and possibility to move across richness of german language, culture and literature and reminds a new way of thinking about how to transfer form source language to target language. This thought played an important role in realizing his motto "World Poetry is Global Reconciliation" and was in line with the idea of world literature.
